| Battlefield: A forest clearing about 25 metres squared with bushes everwhere, a large ditch with a small tunnel system connecting it to another ditch on the other side, and heavy foresting on all four sides. That day, Snipes had made it to the next checkpoint on his vacation, when he sat down against a rock in a clearing. Relaxing, Snipes nodded off to sleep for an hour. "Sure thing. It ain't bad, they can't even feel a thing." "Just head on home, Schwa. I have something else I gotta do." "Well... okay..." Two streaks of ether, one red and one blue, rocket across the sky. The blue one heads off, while the red one heads down in a circle to the center of the field. After landing, the ether dies down, and it appears to be a female figure in white, loose clothes, grey blindfold, and long brown hair, standding atop a crystal disc. The girl steps off the disc, and it disintegrates. The girl looks around, and spots Snipes nearby. "Hi!" She seems docile... |

| Grasping Allaura's hand, Snipes returned the niceties, and at the same time felt like he could trust this strange girl. "Pleased to meet you too. I''m Snipes, a Reploid. When I said "felt", I guess I might have mislead you, I just got that feeling that someone else was nearby; I don't know if that's what you mean when you 'feel' something. Anyways, What are you doing here?" With that, Snipes ended the handshake and looked at Allaura slightly quizzically. |

Schwa said he would someday battle you, because he is a good friend of Tuxydon and he wanted to test his skill against yours... but I beat him to it! And he was right there, too! Right next to me! Yes, I am That Snipes, and I do know Tuxydon, but I didn't see the other person you were with, you saw I was facing the other direction, right? Tuxydon did lose, but I wouldn't called it smoked; he almost beat me instead, it just didn't show. By the way, how is he? I left a medpack for him, but didn't see if he was all right after the battle." Before Allaura could answer his questions, Snipes began to backflip, but stopped in the air partway down and flew backwards while standing upright, using his repulsors. "So, I take it you're looking for a battle then? I've had enough luck that I haven't lost yet, although I do like to come close every time, apparently." |

| "Well, I've never met Tuxydon myself, but Schwa tells me all about him. He should be doing fine." Allaura looks up at Snipes. "You, me, battle? Well... I'm glad you finally caught on! Hee hee!" Allaura flares her hands more brilliantly with red ether. "I don't know if you've ever fought Schwa, but I fight kinda like him. He's more of a defensive fighter, though, while I play more aggresively. Do your best!" Allaura waits for Snipes to attack. |

Pulling out his twin Pistols, which had been upgraded to the deadlier antimatter variety, Snipes took aim and began to fire at Allaura, while firing shots around her to stop her from avoiding the first one. Snipes also began charging his sword and backup reactors. "Let's see what you can do, eh?" ooc: 3 turns until sword charged, 4 turns until reactors charged. |

| "Alright!" Allaura dahses toward Snipes, coating herself in red ether. She takes 3 hits total, and the damage is slightly reduced thanks to the ether... but for each blocked hit she takes, her Attack Power climbs a few points. Allaura makes an effort to get right under Snipes, where he can't fire as well, then uses her ability: "Divine Summoning!" (echo effects) Three spheres of ether rise from the ground, each twice the size of a basketball. One is white, one is blue, and one is yellow. The spheres represent wind, ice, and electricity respectively. The spheres rise from the ground and circle Allaura at a fast speed. "Now that I got my Divine Spheres in play, things will get more interesting!" Notes about the spheres... Allaura can attack with the spheres AND use a Special Technique in the same turn, minus the one when they were summoned into play. The spheres' presence also open the way for two more of Allaura's techniques. |

| "Uh-oh, bomb..." Allaura does a graceful backflip to avoid the bomb, and as soon as she lands she's faced with plasma fire again. "Dang! Okay..." Taking only one more hit thanks to her fast movement, Allaura leaps high in the air, trying to get at Snipes' eye level, and thrusts her hands forward... and the white and yellow spheres fly at him, at the same time spinning around each-other like a corkscrew. If both of these hit, Snipes would take heavy Wind/Thunder damage, but if even one of them misses, the damage would be low. Allaura then moves the blue sphere below her and calls, "Delta Sphere-Burst!" (echo effects) Immediately the blue sphere changes into three ice mirrors that surround Allaura and spin around her super fast. As she lands on the ground, any remaining plasma shots that strke her are deflected into completely random directions by the mirror-like ice sheets. OOC: Don't worry, it'll be fair because the shield lasts a short time. |

| "Damn, you're good!" Holstering his pistol, Snipes avoided the white orb, but was hit by the yellow orb and stunned, when one of his reflected shots hit him! The shot did minimal damage as it had traveled a distance, and SNipes soon recovered. Faced with the mirror shield, Snipes took the obvious route: He chucked a plasma grenade it it, because he knew that it would likely stick to one of the mirrors. "Deal with that, why don't you?" |

| "That'll explode if it hits these," Allaura says. "I'll fix that." Allaura throws her hands apart, and the revolving mirrors spread far out, now in a wide orbit rather than a close one. The grenade nails one of the mirrors, then the mirrors go back to a close orbit. But instead of the grenade exploding like Allaura thought, it stuck fast like Snipes planned. Allaura had just drawn the attack right to her and sealed her own fate. "Oh no! I'm an idiot! Ah well... Crimson Bubble!" (echo effects) Allaura waves her right hand in a circlular motion while flaring it with ether... and a red, basketball-sized sphere, with the appearance of a glossy red bubble, appears in close orbit around Snipes' head. The bubble is red and filled with many orange wisps of light. It stays 5 feet from Snipes' head, never changing distance and always orbiting slowly around him. "This is going to hurt, but that bubble should help a little..." Allaura says to herself... |

| BOOOOM! the grenade exploded, right next to Allaura. Hopefully, Snipes thought, The mirror-thing would shatter, and it wouldn't be just the impact force of the grenade hittings her, but glass shards as well. Noticing the red bubble-like object floating near him, Snipes figured it was an attack, and sliced at it with his sword. "Surprise! Plasma grenades stick to things." ooc: Sword charged, but I'm not using it yet. one turn until the backup reactors are charged. |

| When Snipes slashes the bubble, the blade phases right through the bubble as if the bubble weren't there. A plasma explosion engulfs Allaura, and although she protects herself with ether, she suffers very good damage from this attack. This, in turn, activates Crimson Bubble's effect! The red bubble expands, then shrinks, repelling hundreds of tiny orange wisps of light into Shipes at close range. Dodging is pretty much out of the question since the bubble always stays 5 feet from Snipes, and since the bubble orbits Snipes the wisps come from every angle. In total, the damage the wisps would do to the target is always equal to the amount Allaura received, so in this case, mediumish-high. The blast clears, and Allaura is there without any mirrors, and with some burn marks over her. As soon as she is found with no mirrors, the other two ether spheres dissolve. " *cough, cough* Stupid move on my part... Hopefully Crimson Bubble countered it." And after attacking, Crimson Bubble is still there! However, there are no wisps inside and the color is more dull. However, as Snipes watches, the bubble is slowly filling up with wisps again. "In a few minutes, that'll be ready again. Now, where were we?" Allaura begins charging ether into her palms, ready to release something a little stronger. |

| When the wisps attacked, Snipes tried to fend them off, but the mahority got through, and he was damaged slightly, but his armour was damaged and he would take more damage from attacks. Curing himself for not being careful, Snipes sheathed his sword and pulld out his twin pistols, and began firing at Allaura before she could unleash the attack. "Ouch. | Allaura takes a few unprotected hits to finish charging. "I've lost a bit of health, but now things get interesting. Determined Core!" (echo effects) Allaura releases her charged up energy in the form of rainbow-colored ether that spirals around the whole arena, a beautiful scene. Then the ether comes together in the center, forming into a large rainbow gem that floats high above the arena center. From now on, ALL attacks, from both players, are weaker. "Great! I got Determined Core in place early! Now I can turn this game around." Allaura stands ready in defensive position. |

| "And why would it get interesting?" Activating his sword, Snipes routed power from his backup reactors to his repulsors, Causing him to come flying at Allaura at the speed of sound. Before anything else happened, Snipes brought up his knee and attempted to stopp himself by kneeing Allaura. If it hits, Snipes will wheel around and slash at her with his sword, which will do fair damage because of the determined core move. If Snipes misses, Then he will bounce off the ground at hurl his sword slightly ahead of where Allaura is going like a lance. |

| OOC: Edit: Not ALL moves... but all Elemental and Energy attacks are lowered. Physical attacks are not affected. Allaura focuses, and leaps out of the way at Snipes' knee-tackle. She then leaps straight up and hovers up to Snipes' destination from behind. From the air, she delivers an ether-coated heel-thrust to Snipes' head, a basic melee attack for normal damage (heightened a bit, since each hit Allaura has taken has upped her Attack Power ever so slightly). Allaura then glides backward through the air and falls to the ground, landing on her feet at a crouch, after attacking. "Trust me, it will." Already she can feel her soul binding itself to the energies of Determined Core-- soul-binding is a truly exhilirating experience for any Psi Warrior, and Allaura now feels relaxed and energized... |
