Okay, to bring some meaning.. uh.. I have a fat scar on my left hand from a burn. I placed it on an iron my mom left on the floor near me when I was a wee babyling. She was in the other room chatting on the phone. I don't remember it, but she said it got all bubbly and gross.

It's the shape of Nevada, and I was living in Nevada at the time. LOLER.

A similar thing happened to my brother, and his name is Nevada.

Bah. I have no burns or horrible scars to speak of.

Closest I've ever come to burning myself has been all those times I've washed my hands with just a little too much hot water.

The only time I've burned myself is touching hot pans by accident before they're cooled off. But it's nothing horrific to speak of, they go away after a week with barely any visible scar.
But I do that a lot.
I do have numerous scars though. All over me, from playing sports, being a stupid ignorant kid, and accidents.
I have a horrible one on my hand, the handle to my bathtub snapped off when I was trying to adjust the water temperature, cut me pretty good. The scar is ugly, you can even see where the stitches were.

Really, third degree would NOT be good...wouldn't it involve amputation, possible? *shudders*

I hardly have any injuries at all. Either I'm very lucky...or I'm invincible! Naw, what's probably going to happen is I'm going to get hurt REAL bad when I do, to pay off what I haven't gotten all my life...

I have burned myself a few times. Mainly with lighters and starting fires and the like. I only have 1 visible burn from meating up a metal rod, and resting it on my hand by accident. It's only about a milimeter in size (1/6 of an inch?).

Anyway, I do have some scars. The most notable one is on my face. I got it when I was 5 right below my eye. I was pillow fighting with my dad, and it happened. I love telling that story because people think it happened because the pillow hit me. I had turned around and nailed my face off a desk. If I were like a centimeter shorter, I would be blind in my right eye...

I used to work in a resturant, so burning myself was commonplace. I've been out of that job for over 8 months now, and the scares do not look as bad as they once were. I have this one area on my lower right arm that I can still see, when I had hot oil splashed on me.

I burned my finger on a soldering iron once... Must have been frickin hot because after a second, the pain went away and the spot turned white. Wasn't permenant though. (Also, baked flesh smells horrible. )

Then there was the totally nasty sunburn a few weeks ago. Couldn't bend my legs for a few days afterward. Check out the sandal tan. Then like a week later my arms and legs started peeling like hell. I must have peeled off a pound's worth.

So yeah, burns suck.

I've burnt myself on my mother's wood stove a couple dozen times, and once in welding class. I finish my weld, take off my right glove to lift my visor, and notice that the metal is is stuck to the vice that was holding the metal together. So I grab it with my right hand to pull it loose, only to realize my right glove is in my left hand. I haven't touched an arc welder since.

I've also scraped the hell out of my right knee when my bike crashed on gravel half a dozen years ago. There's only a faint white line left, though.

I once burnt the second hand off my clock. It didn't hurt, but I was late for the internaitonal perfectionists' conference.

I was around 3 or 4 when I got burned. I was living in North Carolina before moving to Iowa. Anyway, I was being too nosy for my own good, trying to see what drink my father had on the table. I grabbed the handle of the coffee mug and pulled it down, buring myself on my chest, and across my forehead. It was burning hot chocolate, and I mean really burning. The only scar I have is on my forehead. Its barely visible today, though my friends say I somewhat look like Axl from those RockMan X games... (slaps hand against face)

When I worked at McDonalds, I would burn my fingers and knuckles all the time. And I get sunburnt a lot. Last summer, when I drove from Cleveland to Columbus with my top down, I got baaad sunburn on both arms. It blistered up, and eventually the blisters merged to form a kind of mega-blister. I was able to keep myself from popping it open, though.

I git a really nasty sunburn when I was at the summercamp. It mademe turn red and it ached like hell when I was going to sleep.

Apparently dome skin is falling off my back too.
