Hadn't seen that one, but I had seen a wooden iPod maybe a week ago, that was pretty cool

I don't know if I'll mod my iPod...

I have a 40 gig I-Pod. Currently its (out of order/space) so its not working, which sucks. I still have yet to take it back. Something I should do soon.

I have a 20gb iPod. I got as a gift, I would never pay the money for one of these things.. 20gb is more space than I use on this computer. But man it is delightful.
It broke in only a few months, the circular tracking thing just stopped responding. I went to the Apple store at our mall without a receipt or anything. They looked at it to make sure I didn't do anything stupid, then they looked up the little number on the back to find out when it was purchased.. then they just replaced it for free. They were all nice about it too, it was great. You can pay like 50 bucks or something to extend the warranty for another year. It broke pretty quickly the first time and it worries me. I don't want to pay some yearly fee to keep my iPod working for me, but I definitely don't want to buy a new one. =\ I have two months left to decide if I'm going to shell out $50 or risk it.
It's sort of irritating.

I dunno, generally when two of a particular product break down and need to be replaced within that short a time, I stop buying that product.

I keep hearing alot of problems with the ipod... mostly the battery due to only working for 5 months then needing to be replaced. At least the irivers battery last longer (much longer)

Finally got my iriver. Totally, mint. I've already changed the firmware (iriver firmware sucks.) Instead i've installed rock box. It now lets me play games on it and inproves the iriver all together
