| whenever I load up the rom and get to the title screen, mario die's instantly unless i can bring up the file select quick enough. If I select a file, as soon as I enter a level, mario dies. I don't know what excactly i did wrong, as I'm new to smw hacking. Is there any way to remedy this? | |||

It sounds like you have a corrupted rom.... Get a fresh one, save your levels to files, and re-insert them in the fresh one.  Simple and effective. And if you still have problems..... you probably seriously messed up one of the levels.Oh, and the world map thingy, just open it in your first rom, open the second rom without closing, and then save to the second rom. Yay! Instant transfer. |
