Hey, im back, was only gone 3 days, but it was fun, and I thought i'd share some things.

Day 1 Monday:
well, on monday we drove 4.5 hours from here to Edmonton, long boring drive I might add...we got there around 3:30 PM. we went to our hotel, just to get it, and to check out the room, and basically stretch after the long ride. after that we went to the Valley zoo, mostly because my little brother wanted to see some animals. we went there until about 6, and seen a few cool animals, although half were either asleep, or missing...after that we drove for awhile, and went back to the hotel, to drop off my mom, and brothers, then me and my stepdad went to Tokyo Ichiban...now this was the interesting part of the day.

we drove about 10 minutes to the restaurant, and on the outside, it looked like it was going to be a really bad place... but inside was a really nice place. after getting a menu, I got a Green tea, and an iced tea to drink, and I gotta say, Green Tea is Awesome. since it was the first time to a japanese place we decided to Order the bento box, we each got one, and I got susi, chicken teriyaki, and Tempura besides the basics it comes with, like rice, miso soup, and a little salad. Alright then. after about 5 minutes the miso soup arrived....that is the ONLY thing I hated, it had a very bad taste to me, so I took a couple spoonfuls just to be nice. a little while later the bento Boxes arrived, it all looked really good, but I had to work up the courage to try the sushi lol. first I went for the chicken teriyaki, that was just AWESOME. then tried some rice, really good to, then the Tempura, Yum, very good, it was Shrimp Tempura, with a yam, and potato I think also, and a white square thing, I think it was some kind of fish or something, finally, went for the sushi, we got 2 california rolls, a salmon, and a tuna one. tried the california one first, not bad, needs some getting use to though.

took a little bite out of the salmon one, and it was interesting to say the least, it wasnt bad, but i wasnt use to cold food with that texture.. it wasnt bad though. ill have to try it again. Next was the tuna one. that one was just weird. it was mushy, not like the salmon at all, and a bit sour. that wasnt too bad either. lets just say, ill have to get use to the sushi, but ill definently eat more japanese food now.. that was basically the whole day...Day 2 is longer, so ill write it later...but lets just say it was rather painful.....

oh, and on another note, next time ill learn to use chop sticks before I go back to a japanese restaurant...was laughing almost the whole time I was there...fumbling with them lol.

well that was day 1, day 2 to come later.. any questions?

I'm not big on oriental food, especially Japanese. I have had bad experince with this kind of food. Mainly food poisioning, or maby it was an alergic reaction, who knows. Either way, it was not good. Glad you liked it tho.

I really hope that Day 2 involves the West Edmonton Mall. You can't possible go to Alberta without going to the W.E.M!!

And aren't all zoos like that. You go to early, the animals are sleeping. You go in the afternoon, they are hiding from the hot sun. You go at night, the animals are just going in, or are sleeping. Oh well. You should really visit he Metro Toronto Zoo sometime. It's pretty nice.

summary of day 2: mainly because its much to long to type out full. indeed it does include west ed mall. 4 hours of the day actually..would have been longer but..ill explain lol

ok, well first we woke up of course, got ready and what not, and about 15 minutes before we were to leave, I was walking into the room to get something, and I step down hard and hit my pinky toe downwards on a little metal piece and it lifted the toe nail up, and hurt like hell, it was bleeding like crazy from all sides, so it was very hard to walk the whole day, which is the reason I only went to the mall for about 4 hours. well, I just put 2 band aids on really tight, then it helped a little, so I just had to bear it for awhile. we left, a drove around a little downtown and what not, just for a drive, the long way to the mall. we got there, and we hadnt eaten yet, so we went to the food court first, was gonna have japanese food, but I had it the night before, so I went for chinese instead not quite as good but ive always liked chinese food anyway. after that we went to the galaxyland area, and because of my food I didnt want to get on any of the rides, so my brothers got day passes I did, I dont really find most of them fun anyway.

basically what I did most of the time was play some of the games, and get tickets, won lots when I shouldnt have, as the game said I won, but I didnt, I didnt complain though lol. I walked over a little, and saw this game called stackers, it had mp3 players, digital cameras, GBASP, and a DS in it, and only a dollar a play, so I decided to try. you basically have to stack the blocks up to the top to get the maojor prizes I got SO Close all the time, but I could never get the last one...no matter what...spent like $11-15 on it, and my brother spent like $6-8 of course didnt win anything...came close but nope. its like the last one wouldnt stop on the right one.

after that we went to walk around the mall a bit, and of course my foot being the way it was, wasnt very enjoyable, but we went to the under sea caverns, and I gotta say, worst $5 I ever spent to get in anywhere, its not very big, and they said over 200 different types of fish and what not. uh, if there was, they were eaten by the sharks. and the penguin area was closed, and the giant octopus was missing. there were some cool things like 4 sharks and a huge sea turtle, some small crocodiles and some weird fish, but it wasnt worth $5 per person.

we left that, and by that time, my foot was hurting like a bitch, so we decided to go back to the hotel for a little bit, on the way out I saw this interesting game thing, it apparently had 76,000 games in one, like the old nes games, and some other arcade games all old, but it came with 3 controllers, and stuff, would have bought it, but my brothers didnt want to help. oh well, so we walked out, and drove back to the hotel. my brothers and stepdad wanted to go back just for an hour and a half for some more rides and what not, but my foot hurt to much, so me and my mom stayed there watched tv for a little bit, and when they came back, we went out for a drive again, this is where it gets interesting besides west ed mall for the day, were driving along, and in the other lane, cops are chasing this speeding car, and the speeding car kinda crashed into another car, then the cop crashed into that car...not to hard though, as the cop had time to slow down quite a bit, but he hit it a little.. anway we kept driving, and my little brother got hungry, so we went to the nearest mcdonalds.

While in the drive through, my other brother spots a store across the parking lot with a naruto poster in the window, so we decided to go take a look, the place was called "Collection Junction" we went inside, and looked around a little, saw a bunch of swords and daggers on the walls, and then my brother sees a Rurouni Kenshin wall scroll on the wall behind a sword, we asked him about it, and he shows us a big box with about 200 in there, naruto, final fantasy, inuyasha, astro boy, you name it, it was likely there, so he bought 2 of them, and asked if he could by the smaller Kenshin one on the wall, he sold it for a discount, since it was already hung on the wall, he bought a final fantasy 8, and a Naruto one besides, he was also having a promo, where you get a free poster with each wall scroll, so he got 2 of them as well. I decided I would buy one, and I looked, and found a really nice Inuyasha one, so I bought that one, and since the poster also comes free, I got a inuyasha the movie poster. that was all good, so we left there, and went back to the hotel.. the wallscrolls are really nice, when I get a camera, ill take a picture of them. I looked on google, but couldnt find the one I have.

Well thats the end of day 2. day 3 is much smaller, but I just typed to much so ill do it later.

Sounds awesome, except for the toe stubbing part. I hope your foot heals fast. I had heard that the fish tank (the cavern?) was really nice, but I guess not. It seems like there is a mass conspiracy about disappearing animals. Gone at the zoo, gone at the mall...hmmm...lol.

Anyway, I would have beat my brothers up and took their money if I saw a game thing that had 76K games in it! Thats really cool. And that block game that you were talking about. It had a DS! Thats awesome.

It sounds like you had alot of fun. Awesome find at "Collection Junction" I guess eh. Looking forward to day 3!

ill write it in a bit, its really short, didnt do much but I did find a nice game store.

yeah, its a little cavern, you walk down a big fish mouth entrance, and theres a bunch of tanks and what not, snakes, lizards, sharks, etc, but its not what I though it would be. and we were only down there like 15 minutes, definently could be cheaper, but whatever. and yeah, there must have been a conspiracy going on, to many missing animals. the 76k games in 1 was this:
looking around, I think theres only about 100 on it, but many variations/starting at other levels, it cost about $70.

yeah, that collection junction was a nice place...if anyone wants to check it out if they are in edmonton, its on #1-8103 127 Ave. its a nice place they also do custom orders.

I tried to find the scroll I bought online, but I cant find the same one...same with the rurouni kenshin one my brother bought...weird

yeah it was really fun....shes not technically an archer, but she does use a bow.

day 3 Wednesday:

Started off the same as tuesday, but without the toe incident, although on the same day, I did hit it again, forgot to add that last post, I only banged it though, not like what I did the first time, basically we didnt do much this day, left the hotel at about 11, and went to a game store I saw the night I went to Tokyo Ichiban, it was right beside it. It was Called Nexwave games, it had all the old consoles and games, as well as new ones, I looked around for about 35 minutes, there had to be 300+ Snes games, all ranging from $10 to $100....Chrono Trigger with its box, and instruction book, being that $100..I wish I would have saved all my money, would have bought it, and final fantasy 2, that was $80 with its case and instructions. there were ones without the case and everything, ff2 was 50, and chrono trigger was 70.

I wanted to buy a dreamcast mainly because of all the emulators for it, like the snes, and everything, and just download some DC games and burn em. there was one, but it was $80 I didnt much want to spend that much on a dc...so I didnt buy it. there was a used neo geo there, for $450 I thought to myself WTF....I would never buy it. I saw many NES games too, all the good ones, zelda 2, SMB3,2,1 many games for almost all consoles, and I saw a turbo gfx 16 that came with keith courage for $40 would have bought it if I didnt already beat keith courage on my cousins turbo gfx, and if I saw some other cheap games.

My brother ended up buying Resident Evil Zero for the gamecube, and I didnt buy anything, wish I had like $200 with me, would have bought a bunch of things. im definently saving up some money for the next time I go there.

thats basically all that happened that day, besides eating before the long drive back, but I must say, that Pepsi lime is really good, and the best M&M's are the Jedi mix. got those at a 7/11 on the way back.
