i have SMB music in one of my games, but i hate that annoying star music. someone said in a thread a few months ago that the old SMW star music was still in the game, and he gave a hex address and a value which would change the SMB star music back to the old star music. i want to do that but i can't find that thread. can someone help me?

I'm not sure if this is what you want, but I was the one who mentioned how to change the SMW2 star music into the SMAS star music in a rom with a music patch. Just go to $32021C and $32021D change the values to 4A and DA, respectively. If you wanted to know, these two addresses just so happen to be the pointer to the star music...

As for changing it back to the original SMW music, there's no way of doing that yet.

Is there any more SMAS music tucked away in Demo World, then? I'm curious as to what I could throw together...

Tons more. almost every SMAS sound effect is in Demo World somewhere. The Dying Music and Game Over music from SMB1 are played at the end credits of a hack with an SMB1 music patch. i don't know much about this kinda stuff but i believe you need to find the music pointers to select them for when you need them.

Yeah! I want that YI music in my new hack! It's really cool,I'm getting tire of the same music in hacks! I hope Blackhole89 could finish it really soon.
