Remember, alcohol and fireworks are a recipe for success! ;D

You're 3 days late, dude.

Maybe in Canada the 4th doesn't fall on the 4th, but over here it does. Call our calendar system weird, but that's how we do.

I missed the fireworks.

Well, happy Independence day everyone. I wish I could be over there, since I love Fireworks.

1) Fireworks depress me for some reason now. Everyone was gathering at the high school to go see a huge display in my town, and I was absent because I didn't want to run into anyone specific...

2) I made a horrible miscalculation this morning while half-asleep that cost me the rest of the day. I put on a shirt that said "CANADIAN, EH?" in large white letters. I feel ashamed.

There's a lesson to learn from this: Never put a shirt again.

Well I didn't celebrated 4th of July after all. My parents figured enough was enough. Plus we're all just too damn stressful to stare at a bunch of fireworks.

I didn't get dinner again. It's a tragic story, you better grab some kleenex before listening to this one. I got a burger, but my dad didn't bother with fries or drinks. I can't it by itself, I need something to take away from the meat. I had to go help my mom out with moving after dinner, so I decided to wait so we could get a soda. When we leave, I take it out of the fridge, put it in a ziploc bag, and heat it up. I didn't think about how we have a microwave at the new place or anything. Apparently you can't microwave ziploc bags. While having it on my lap in the car I realize the bag has melted and it gets on my pants, and it's gross. By the time I get my soda and get in the house, the burger has gotten totally soggy, and I have to throw it out.
The horror.
It's weird, I didn't even have the annual burger for this day. It's just a regular day. With none of my friends online.

My brother isn't even AWARE of the holiday. He just thinks it's my dog's birthday. Cartoon Network's been on all day and it didn't say anything, so that's that.

My mom is now afraid of fireworks so I just go somewhere else to do it.

2 years ago, one went up about half way, other went up like 3 feet and knocked the tube over, then the one remaining shot out. I was there, I know.

Yes it was a fun day, it usually is.

Ha, that reminds me a time when I was 7 years old that there was this block party during the 4th... and some drunken neighbor throw an m80 at my sisters leg. Surpringly, she came out of that with only mild burns. Left a nasty scar, though.

And then there was the time when I was 11 that me and some friends shot bottle rockets like missles at some adults that were yelling at us for having made a treefort. Ahh... the glorious days of my childhood.

The fireworks made my day happy and good! Happy Birthday mi country

Went to a park with a huge, sexy fireworks display. It's better being near them then a few blocks down watching them. It wasn't very expensive either but the food was..now Im tired..and worn out..

My 4th.

- Hung out with a friend for awhile.
- We played Conquer Live and Reloaded for a few hours.
- Went up to Gamestop trying to find the new issue of PC Gamer, since it has breaking news about Supreme Commander, Total Annihilation's successor. They closed right when we got there.
- Had fun driving through parking lots.
- Went back to his house to play more Conquer.
- Watched a few episodes of Kurau (anime).
- Another friend came over, we played more Conquer.
- Went to see our City's fireworks showing, that was absolute crap.
- Almost choked on ice cream.

That's about it.

Reminds me of the time we bought some firecrackers and started setting them off on the road when nobody was around. All fun and games until we got to one with a really fast-burning fuse that almost blew up in my brother's hand.

omg that nearly happened to me too. I had some weird obsession with firecrackers and all the things I could do with them. I'm a real chicken about dangerous stuff, but when it comes to firecrackers, I'll pull some major dumbass things.
Good times.

I'd always blow those tank things up with firecrackers, and bigger things.

Then my friends and I would always try to blow up an action figure or two.

A few years ago, my brother and I laid out a roll of 5,000 firecrackers in the middle of the street, lit one, and ran inside while they went off. The entire roll. People were out of their houses looking at who did it, but they didn't know. And they couldn't stop it either. It ended up being about 15 minutes of nonstop BAMBAMBAMBAMBAM, it was hilarious.

DUDE. ALL my rockets and firecrackers were confiscated. I had hundreds of Dixie Whistlers left over from last year, as well as a giant WARLORD pack of larger rockets, and now they're all GONE. Apparently, rockets and firecrackers were illegal where I went this year (nobody said a THING about it), while literally everything else that shot up in the sky or made a loud BANG was legal. WTF?

I can see them now, all laid out on a table, while a bunch of cops and smelly elderly citizens stand around, grinning stupidly and applauding the "noble efforts of the Airway Heights P.D."

*BMF54123 gives Airway Heights, WA the finger and a hearty "f*ck off and die"

Talk about a mood killer...we just packed up and left right then and there. I'm totally going to Idaho next year.

See if you can find where they officially stated they were illegal. If they didn't, you may have a legal defense...
