| We do firework displays in Canada for Canada Day... but just controlled, legal ones. Not really a market for fireworks in Montreal as far as I know. :\ Anya seems to have gotten totally screwed today.  I know here for Canada Day, you either have to get June 30th or July 1 off, or be compensated if you don't.Happy Fourth.  |

| Ha, Anya's not the only one getting rocked in the trunk today. I gotta work in about 45 minutes. What's worse, working at Toys R Us means I'm gonna be having asdf people, drunk and not drunk, ringing out fucking kiddie pools all day. Who buys video games on the fourth? Who buys action figures (aside from me, I mean: I've got one on hold)? Not only that, but I can't really eat 99% of the stuff that's being grilled today. This'll really be the first year I've never had a big hamburger or hot dog on the fourth, it's gonna be strange. That said, afterwards I think I'll go spend some quality time with my good old father. We're having a massive cookout here, my uncle and family. We also got a FUCKTON of fireworks on top of that, so we might launch some of the mortars at passing motorcycleists. Who knows! Happy birthday America, lets hope for many more, because fireworks wouldn't be much fun then.  |

| I'm going to my Aunt's house, where I always go for this holiday. She's the only relative of mine that lives in a city where fireworks are allowed. Even though having to sit around my dad's family all day is dull, the fireworks are fun entertainment. My brother and I are responsible for lighting them all off. We also get more than our fair share of illegals, some of which are really really fun to light off. A couple years ago when I went there, the neighbors put up the best show ever. They were cooking out by their pool when someone kicked over the can of lighter fluid into the pool. Soon after, the little 4 year old who was holding a sparkler got a little too close.. BOOM. I've never seen an actual fireball go up into the air, but that's what this was. That 4th of July was ruined because there were cops and firemen on the street the whole night. No illegals.  |

| Hey, I had to work to from 6:30 am to 3:00pm. Arby's definitely isn't an American tradition, thank goodness. We had Krispy Kreme donuts, ice cream and someone brought a grill and we grilled burgers outside. The very few customers we did have wanted what we were having over what they came for, it was great. For tonight? Psh, I'll probably just play Literati and watch TV. |

My friend burned himself. Oh last year we had this huge fireworks display at my house and my step-aunt put three mortars in the ariel tube and then lit it. The first one nocked the tube over and then the other two blew up about five feet off the ground. We all ran from the firey explosion.  My mom is now afraid of fireworks so I just go somewhere else to do it. |
