My toads quest is on hold for the moment for until i can figure this little problem out.

I'm makeing a vertical level, and it is the inside of a tree, ok here is the problem, the background keeps haveing a bunch of garbage and i can not seem to get rid of it, i mean the background image i have set up is there, but i keep seeing this mess of stuff that is mixed in with it, i have adjusted and adjusted the crap out of every setting for the level and it still has that crap.

Anyhow, some help would be greatly apritiated.

If i do not find out what is wrong now, i can not move forward with my hack for the simple reasion that i may run into this problem again when makeing another vertical level.

If i have to show you guys a screenshot showing what is wrong, let me know.

yeah i know what this is. in Lunar Magic, hit the blue button with the bubbles on it, next to the lakitu button i think, and then a window will open. click on the top dropdown list. pick anything where the v-scroll is on slow, eg: h-scroll: variable, v-scroll: slow. hope that helps.

Ok, someone who will remane nameles, just PM me and told me what was wrong, 1 I had to set it up to where when i enterd the level mario telleports to the highest part of the particular screen he will be starting on, IE if it is screen B, make him show up as high up as possible.

The other thing is that you have to in modify main and or secondary enrance have it set to FG=00 the very top FG=00 And the background has to be set on BG=CO as normal, but anyhow, that is about it, so now if anyone else runs into this problem they will know how to fix it.

Haha, thanks! Here I was making a tower level with a glitchy background and too prideful to ask myself... man, I'm such a n00b... *cries*

No really, I'm surprised that this isn't in any of the helpful stickies. I always look in stickies first, and if it's not there, I assume it must be there, just in a small place where I haven't looked yet. So I pour myself into the stickies and solving it myself, when I could just ask... weird, yo.

Well, i am thinking of puting a document togethor which will help with solving little problems like this.

So tell me.
Did it work, or have you tried to see if that would fix it?
Just curious.

And i am in the mists of Figuring out how to disable the fade that is at the and of every level.

Now that i have started getting into ASM hacking, their are a few thing id like to do.

But, ill post all that some other time.

Most likely on my toads quest thread.

Right now im useing hex workshop and a copy of mario world and am just randomly changeing different codes, to see what will happen, but at the same time im makeing sure if the outcome is bad to change it right back to whatever it was, the.. the code that is.

Oh and make sure to have the background setting on what pete said to put it on.
