| 2 questions: uno: How can you change the Map where the game starts (in Emerald) to Bank 1A, Level 04? (A.K.A the Battle Frontier) ms-dos: If it's possible, does anyone know of a pointer to change (again, in Emerald) so you can change your main character's backpic, overworld sprite and such to the ones from FireRed? (I'm pretty sure the stuff for them is in the ROM (for trades), I just can't find it '_') Thanks amillion, -Icyflare |

| 1 - Same way you'd do it before the starting position changer was added. Using a hex editor, find either the starting map/bank numbers or the starting x/y tile positions and try changing 'em until you hit the right spot. 2a - Use RS-Ball (now un-subclassed so it'll run) to find the Red backpic's pointer, then change the Emerald backpic's pointer to the other one. 2b - Easiest way to change the overworld sprites is with a simple gfx hack. |
