I downloded the zelda2 editor from zophar's domain but now when I type in the filename and hit enter the editor just closes.What did I do wrong?

It needs a certain kind of memory to be alocated for it to work. If you right click on the icon and go to proporties, it will bring up a box with several tabs at the top. Go to the one that says Memory and set the "Expanded (EMS) Memory" to auto and hit ok and all that and it should work.

If that doesn't work...welp wait and hopefulyl I will or someone will do a windows editor.

NOTE! if you are using XP it may not work since I know my QB editors don't work well in XP.

Thanks for telling me it won't work in Xp because thats what I have, I'll just transfer it to my windows 98 computer I have in my basement.

When I use it it says "Can't initialize direct QB: no EMM driver detected" when I run it now what do I need?

I'm not sure it will help, but there's a section on there that tells you how to check and enable EMS on an XP system.

Or, since it says "no EMM driver detected" you may want to look that up and see if finding one and installing it would work.

Then again trying it on an older computer may just be the easier thing to do.

I'll just wait for a windows editor,I don't want to mess around with the windows configuration files. I'm scared of really messing up my computer.
