I currently have had Optimum Online since September of 2001, the connection is pretty fast for me, no waiting or anything  , but the price is up at $49.99 an month in this area though and they have some ports blocked too.  It's great to see someone finally has a cable connection to the internet.  |

| I didn't get cable internet until after I moved - my old location STILL can't get cable, and as far as I know, nobody in Wilkes-Barre can, because Service Electric sucks ass. I have Adelphia cable, and the max DL's I've seen topped 1MB a sec, and max uploads topped 200K/sec, which I have no complaints about. It's better than my school connection because, at school, all P2P programs are blocked, it has horrible intranet/networking hardware and software, so it lags quite a bit sometimes. |
