Morris the Moose wanted candy. He went to the wrong store. The man in the store said, "We don't sell candy. Can't you read?" Then he showed Morris the cand store. The man in the candy store Said, "What would you like?" Morris looked at the candy. He liked the gumdrops. He said "Give me some of those." The man said "They are one for a penny. How much money do you have?" Morris looked. He had six pennies. "I have four pennies," he said. The man laughed "You have six! Can't you count? Don't you go to school?"
Morris asked "What is school?" The man said "I will show you. But first, here are six gumdrops. They are one for a penny, and you have six pennies." Then the man took Morris to school. The children said, "Oh, look! a real moos!" The teacher said, "Hello. My name is Miss Fine." The man said "He never went to school." Morris could not say anything.
His mouth was full of gumdrops. Morris swallowed his gumdrops. Thnen he said, "My name is Morris the Moose. I want to learn to count. I want to learn to read too. I like candy!" Miss Fine said "Hello, Morris. Welcome to our class. Please sit at a desk."
Morris tried but he din't fit. He had to sit on to of the desk. "We will now Study the alphabet," said Miss Fine. "This is an A. This is a B...." Morris hid under the desk. He yelled, "Where is the bee? I'm afrid of bees. they sting." Miss Fine said, "I meant the letter B. This one here. It doesn't sting." Then Miss Fine Said "And next there is C......" "Oh, I like the sea!" Morris said "I love to swim!" "No" said Miss FIne. "I meant the letter C. This one here."

That's a real story isn't it? I had a feeling it was, "Morris the Moose".. come on. I copied it from a journal I found while looking at childhood things. Earlier than that time, I made another story. Compare and contrast my skills.

Once ther was a chomp and Sonic stuk in a STROG BUBEL! But the bad gay did not know that tailes had the key. So tailes let them free ZAP ZAP ZAP just like that "Ther gon but how?"
THE END?
To be conetud

"Im Finaly FREE" Chomp siad. "Me to thake you." siad Sonic. "WO...." but befor thay cold finish thay were thrapet. "ha ha" iad the bad gay.
to be contenuod

The Hot Lava fluw it killd the bad gay it brok the rope AND.. and chomp woke up "whew what a nait-mare" than he found hem self in a buble. THE END

Pictures provided. Perhaps I'll scan it sometime.

lol

this made me remember... back when I was four years old, I wanted to become a professional book writer (lol). I was planning on writing a really really awesome story and sending it to a publishing house. =o
I actually started writing that story... and I still remember what, up to now, remains my absolutely favourite passage of it.

"The little birdie entered the forest. It consisted out of 11735 pines and 8741 spruces."
~ blackhole89 (who wants to remain anonymous not to harm his rl reputation with this), 1992.

Back in 1996, I had the nerdy obsession of drawing levels for Yoshi's Island on paper...

"thay were thrapet"

That's the absolute best line ever.

And yes, Ashley. It *is* a book. That I read many moons ago, to be precise.

Better than me at that age. Seriously, I was mainly drawing Mario levels back then on pads of paper.

And what, if I may ask, is wrong with that? I designed a whole level editor to go with it, before I even found out about emulation!

I can top you both! I actually made a level editor for it!

And I used to draw Megaman levels when I was little. Except I sucked at it.

I actually remember that book.

I also remember not liking it that much. But hey, it's a children's story. What can you do?

I think I found one of the things I wrote 11-12 years ago. I didn't space between the words so everything looked like one big mess. xD

I made some lame stories when I was 10-12 years old.
