| Normal rules here...of course. You'll be fighting up to three people, so you might want to use multiple characters or team up with a friend. ----- After a long day...er, month, of watching battles in the tournament, Spaky, Spiky, and Speeky found themselves faced with a tremendous problem - hunger. After a bit of wandering around the complex, they soon found themselves in the cafeteria, but decided it would be too unhealthy to eat there, what with the mess that the food fight had left. So they wandered back out into the hall to devise another plan for eating. Spiky: Does anyone have any Cheatos? Spaky: If I had some, I'd already of eaten them. Duh. Spiky: Oh darn. The tallest, greenest one, Speeky, thought long and hard, but provided some ideas for his ravenous comrades. Speeky: Well, the cafeteria is out, so we have two options - one, we could wander the halls in search of prey to kill and eat, perhaps a mouse or a new member...or two, we eat Spaky. Spaky: I like the sound of tha - wait, NO I DON'T!!! Spiky sat down on the floor and started nibbling on his tail thoughtfully. Spiky: Umm...okay, normally I'm all for justice and goodness, but as this is soon to be a life-or-death situation, maybe we could...uh... Spaky: Eh, what? Spit it out! Spiky: Er... I don't know, maybe just...drop by the kitchen and sneak some snacks.... Or not, you know, I'm fine starving. Speeky didn't seem too pleased with the idea, but all of his involved cannibalism to some degree, so he couldn't complain. Speeky: All right, we'll just stop by for a moment, but I'll write a check for the nice cooks. That cafeteria was too dangerous. The three of them walked single file over to the door to the kitchen, looked both ways down the hall, and quickly piled in. The vast amounts of food they saw upon entering nearly made their mouths overflow with saliva. Spaky: L-look at this poultry! Chicken, turkey, duck, ostrich, breegull...! He ran over to the appropriate freezer, where there were mounds of the type stacked neatly over one another. Speeky: And there's an excellent veggie section too! Potatoes, broccoli, celery... Look how big this one carrot is! Speeky happily patted a carrot that had somehow grown to over twice his size. Spiky: This place is great! Look at these forks!!! Spiky held up a fork and observed its fine craftsmanship. Spaky: Boys...tonight, we feast! Spiky! This was your best idea ever! Spaky began piling as many food items as he could carry on his arms, while Speeky hurriedly scribbled down his signature on a check and taped it on the counter. However, one thing caught Spiky's eye that changed the whole course of events that evening. Nested at the top of a tall shelf was a delicious cherry pie...it beckoned to him. He couldn't resist! Before he knew it, he had already climbed halfway up the shelf, but he stopped there. Many things scared Spiky, and heights were near the very top of the list. Spiky: Uh...uh-oh! What was I thinking?! Help, guys!!! The world wobbled below him like some kind of crooked hippo. The nervous lizard stupidly covered his eyes with his hands, which of course made it impossible for him to continue holding on to the shelf, which of course meant he fell down to the floor, bumping into the adjacent shelf on the way. The shelf, stacked to the tip-top with boxes of food, wobbled dangerously. Spiky held his breath and prayed as it leaned over...over...over... And fell, crashing into the next shelf, which in turn crashed into the next, which continued the process until virtually the entire kitchen was a delicious mess. Spaky and Speeky stopped their joyous foraging and writing at once, and shakily turned around to face the rest of the kitchen. Speeky:... Spaky:... Speeky:...Er... Spaky: Spiky!!! What have you done?! Quickly, Speeky, we've gotta get out of here before we're spotted! Too late! The door to the kitchen was already opening! Speeky: Oh no |

| OOC: Man, it was SO tempting... I gave this a few days, thinking someone else would respond to your challenge, but I guess nobody has... It just seems odd to fight the Lizard Bros. again after only a few months, but hey, you did a GREAT intro and I can't refuse this challenge. Dude, you said the Lizard Bros. were inspired by Team Gemini? WELL, then, let's get this party started, shall we?  SMASH! SMASH! SMASH! Korrachi pretends not to hear the sound effects, knowing what'll happen next... "Ami, don't go that way." She turns around and begins to walk down the hall towards the noise. "AMI! I said... Bah! You can't talk to her when she makes her mind up!" Frusterated, Korra follows Ami as fast as possible, hard to do because Ami is speeding her walk to a run, until she glides an inch above the ground using telekinesis, FAST. Korra gives up the chase when Ami disappears behind a 4-way intersection in the halls, not knowing which way she turned. "Dang! Dang dang dang!" He stamps his foot, frusterated. "Why does Ami have to be so dang curious!!?" Meanwhile, passing a large door, Ami stops gliding as the crystal in the center of her lavender helmet, glows hot-white. She backs up and stares at the door, sure that this is where the curious noises came from. She slowly opens the door, and is immediately greeted with a wiener in the left cheek right under her eye, which glows glancing off but surprises Ami. Immediately after struck, Ami falls backward and begins weeping softly. Should the Lizard Bros. get a better look at Ami, they'll find her to be a small girl, maybe 10 years old, in lavender armor knitted of the tinyest crystals linked together. Ami also wears a helmet of the same structure, complete with a pure crystal in the center. Usually the crystal isn't glowing, and just appears a cloudy blue and almost cosmic looking, but in this case the crystal on the crying girl's helmet is a solid, glowing red. Korra thinks for a moment which way Ami could've gone, then decides... "Okay, Korra... Use your feet to run, your unbreakable, Team Gemini bond to do the rest. Here I go." And he takes off in one direction, hoping to find his sister in a few moments... |

| Ah, phew. I was beginning to think that the setup for this battle was a little too far-fetched! I have a feeling that the kitchen will serve as an eventful battleground for this fight... ----- Spaky took a closer look at who he hit when he heard the weeping. Indeed, it was just a little girl! Speeky: Spaky! How could you do that? Spaky: Buh - gah - er - buh - oh come ON! What were the odds of THAT?! I was expecting some big security guard or something!!! Spaky, with his super speed, was over by Ami in the blink of an eye - not only to try to cheer her up, but also to block the view of wrecked kitchen behind the door. Spaky: Look, uh, sorry about...about the hot dog, I, uh, was...I was juggling. Don't bother looking in the kitchen, it's perfectly clean. Spaky smacked his forehead at himself as Spiky and Speeky scrambled to put everything back as it was in the kitchen. |

| "Aha! Ami, there you-- Oh geez, you're crying... What in blazes...!" Korra, who has found Ami around a corner, dashes up, but is nearly knocked off his feet at the sight of Spaky... I mean, if you were looking up at a big red lizard, wouldn't you be shocked? The feeling only lasts a moment, though... "Who-okay! You, uh... Hopefully Ami hasn't caused you too much trouble... Why is she crying, anyhow?" He notices the hot-dog on the floor, and notices a red-mark on Ami's left cheek. The puzzle pieces connect. "Hmm... Did someone attack her, by any chance? Because if they did, they're in for some serious, big-time Gemini-style whuppin'. Did you see who attacked her? Will you help me look? C'mon, thinking of battle makes me antsy! Rrgh!" The boy, Korrachi, looks about 10 years old, and he wears a silvery-blue cyber suit covering his right arm and leg, torso, half his left arm and leg, and the top of his head. Korra kneels down to Ami and gives her a hug. "Ssh, don't cry, Ami... Koorachi's here for you..." Ami hugs him back. It's a truly touching scene. | Spaky angrily poked his head through the kitchen door. Spaky: Hey! You clowns almost finished tidying up in there? Things are getting ugly here! Speeky and Spiky were busy lifting up the last shelf, and didn't respond. Spaky groaned and returned to Korra, who probably hadn't noticed him. Spaky: Look, uh, Koo...rachi (is that even a name?), about the wiener... Spaky looked at the tearful situation in front of him, paused, and then broke completely. Spaky: ...IT WAS ME!!! I'm sorry, you see I was panicking, it was a blind shot, I couldn't see what was happening andIwasrattledenoughwithextremehungeranddesperationandIreallydidn'tmeantohurtanyone'sfeelings - Spiky opened the door and tapped Spaky on the shoulder, very visible and audible. Spiky: Hey! The place is cleaned now. They didn't find out about the mess, did they? |

| "Ah, I get it!" Korrachi exclaims. "You three destroyed the kitchen, and someone was coming in... which was Ami... so... you... Wait a sec, YOU attacked my sister? But you immediately confessed, so I shouldn't have a reason to be angry. But still, we came here to fight somebody... "Can I ask you a question, uh, whoever you are... You three team fighters?" Korra says this almost desperately. Ami has stopped crying now that Korrachi has calmed her down, but is still a bit anxious. Korra stares at the Lizard Bros. as if willing them to answer 'yes' to his question. |

| Spiky: Huh? Fight? No, sir, we don't fight very mu - *CRASH* Spiky was cut off when Spaky shoved him back into the kitchen. Spaky: Oh, yeah, we are team-fighters! Why, are you looking for a spar? We'll agree to it! He looked around the hall. Spaky: Might want to avoid fighting in the hall, though. How about in here? It's pretty big. Spaky stepped inside, and immediately started warming up by doing aerobics super-fast. Speeky, who had been inside the kitchen, did not hear Spaky's conversation. Speeky: Eh, what's going on? We should leave now, before we're caught. Spaky: Naw, I agreed to fight the two people I met outside. Speeky was used to the kinds of rash decisions that Spaky made, and was not too overcome with shock. He sighed, but agreed to go along. Spaky had already agreed, anyway. Speeky: Fine. Spiky, since there are only two of them, you can sit this out if you like. Spiky: Wha-? You got it! Spiky slipped off to the side, while Spaky and Speeky waited for Korra and Ami. Speeky: If you want to, you guys can go first. --- BTW, I'll probably have the Lizard Bros. profile up today or tomorrow. | "Yes! Muhuhaha! A spar! Ami, d'you hear that? A SPAR! Yeah!" Korra leaps in the air in approval. Ami slightly nods her head in approval. "Wait, you want to fight in the kitchen? That's interesting... Kinda unusual, really..." Korra steps into the kitchen, Ami slowly follows him. "Okay, guys, time for proper introductions. I'm Korrachi, this is Amiachi," he says, waving his hand to Ami. "We're universal peacekeepers. Literally. We actually travel from planet to planet in order to keep the peace. This is my cyber suit," he says, waving to himself. He then holds his right arm up, and it begins to shift form as if made of liquid. In 3 seconds it is in the shape of a cannon, replacing his right hand, similar to the origional Megaman. "This is the Team Buster. You'll learn to hate it." He smiles, as his arm cannon morphs back. "And Ami and I are an unseperable team... We call ourselves Team Gemini, and we fight as one. You'll see. So! Your names, and we can get this game ON!" Korra switches to an offensive stance, and Ami stands behind and to the right of her brother, hands brought closely together as if focusing energy. She still keeps her eyes on the two Spucks before them, and her crystal glows dimly white. Korra still thinks it's odd to spar in a kitchen, but hey, a spar's a spar... | Spaky: The kitchen's nice, big, and out of the way of other people. Seems good to have a fight here, to me. Speeky: So, intros. I'm Speeky, my brother you'll be fighting is Spaky, and Spiky is the one sitting this fight out. We don't really do anything as important as keep peace in the universe, but we can still keep you challenged! Spaky: And you'll see why in a moment! Suddenly, Spaky flashed red and Speeky flashed green! Each of them was charging their stats - Spaky's speed increased, while Speeky's defense increased. Spiky nestled comfortably on a chair off to the side, ready to provide helpful advice to his brothers. --- Starting with this battle, I've decided to keep my character's HP visible. | OOC: Well, the HP meter is actually a tradeoff... It takes away from the creative aspect of the battle while increasing the usefulness... Personally I think that creativity is better than practicallity, but do whatever... "Interesting. Well, do you have a team name, like us? We're Team Gemini. And it's time to show you the REAL power of a bond! Here we go!" Korra holds his hands facing each-other as if holding an invisible ball, as a sphere of electricity forms in his hands. He releases his hold on the sphere when it gets big, then thrusts his hands in a forward motion. "Hah!" Instantly the sphere flies forward and breaks into a wide shower of small spheres that flurry over the two Lizard Bros, each of which would do light damage per hit. However, there are a lot of them... 1 second after Korra's attack, Ami fires a fast beam of energy out of her crystal aimed at Speeky, a medium-damage energy attack. As Ami attacks, Korra is already dashing across the kitchen floor en route to get behind his two foes. |

| As soon as the battle started, it was apparent to the Lizard Bros. that they were at a disadvantage - their opponents had the greater range. To win this battle, they would have to overwhelm Team Gemini. Spaky wasn't expecting the first electric ball attack to split into smaller projectiles, and futilely jumped out of the way. He still got struck several times. Speeky, too, got hit, but the light attacks individually did very little damage to him. As the beam Ami shot soared at Speeky, he grabbed a nearby bag of flour and tossed it at the incoming attack. The two collided, and the bag exploded, covering the room in a thick layer of powder! All four fighters would have to go without vision for a time. Spaky: Hah-ha! Didn't see that coming, did you? We're the Lizard Bros., and this'll be your toughest fight yet!!! Spaky grew redder in color, as he charged more. Speeky, though it would be hard to tell, sucked in a bunch of air and puffed into a ball! As he did this, his scales shifted outward, making him prickly to touch. Once fully puffed, Speeky rolled blindly around the room, hoping to slam into either Korra or Ami, or both. Spaky: 85% Speeky: 96% |

| "Ami! Purity Flush!" *cough* Korra covers his eyes from the powder, unable to see, morphing his hand into a cannon at the same time. Ami, upon hearing Korra's command, focuses as a cloudy blue-grey pattern appears on the crystal in her helmet. Ami doesn't need her eyes to see, though; she sees with undescribable, cosmic energies flowing through her. She hovers over to Korra as fast as possible as Speeky inflates, and places her palm on his arm. The pattern on her crystal is transferred to Korra's Cannon, as the Team Buster is now loaded with the Purity Flush attack. Korra immediately fires, and a large water sphere flies out and hits the ceiling, exploding into a flurry of harmless rain that sprikles over the entire room. This attack A) Does incredible damage to summoned units and/or objects (if there were any), B) Neutralizes status conditions for all fighters (if any), and C) Gets rid of the pesky powder all over the room. D) The Purity Flush might also neutralize Spaky and Speeky's stat increases, if they were considered moves; if they were just the warming-up phase, that wouldn't be affected in any way. Korra then barely has enough time to react to Speeky's rollout-type maneuver, and backflips away then to the side. Shocked, he doesn't manage to land on his feet, making him open to any immediate attacks. Ami hovers over to his position on the ground to defend if necessary. Her crystal begins to charge and glow bright white, readying an attack... |

| Spaky: Hey, the powder's gone away! Uh-oh. Spaky saw Ami's crystal glow, suspected she was about to attack, and was there in a flash! Spaky attempted to ram into her. The attack would deal medium damage, but would be hard to avoid, because of the speed. Also, if Spaky missed, he would reverse direction and charge back once more, with a little less force. Speeky bounced off of Korra and floated away a little bit, but slowly reversed his direction by spinning in the air, aimed toward him. However, the impact seemed to stir something inside of him; when he inhaled, he sucked in a good bit of flour, and now it was about to take its toll. A few seconds after Spaky attacked, Speeky let loose a might sneeze! The wind he created would be enough to blow anyone away, and even cause dizziness. This affected Spaky, too, but he was easily able to outpace the gale. Spaky: 85% Speeky: 96% |

| As Spaky charges, Ami is nailed once but immediately fires a larger, more powerful blast than before at point-blank range into Spaky as he moves away and forward again. Then she glides and turns sideways. Korra can't get up fast enough when Speeky sneezes, and it launches both Korra and Ami clear across the room, right into a wall. This does quite good damage to both of them, but they land on their feet, side by side, after hitting the wall. "Gemini Arrow, Ami. Get ready," Korra says quietly. Ami hovers upward as high as possible without touching the ceiling, as Korra charges electrical energy into his right arm. Yes, they're preparing a Tandem Attack, but can the Lizard Bros. figure that out? |

| Spiky, who was sitting off to the side, was closer to Team Gemini than Spaky and Speeky were, and was able to hear Korra. Spiky: Uh-oh, guys! I think they're preparing a team attack! It looks electric, too. Spaky and Speeky exchanged glances at this. Spaky then shifted behind Speeky, who crouched low, ready to act at the slightest hint of action. What were they planning? Spaky: 70% Speeky: 96% |

| Grey: "Alright, what's all this cr--- Oh, HELL no." Grey stared, wide-eyed and twitch-eyed at the innards of the Kitchen. He had been living in the pantry for the last few weeks, homeless and kicked out of his office. Having heard the crash he hoped that nobody was causing a mess in there, since the cooks usually made HIM clean it up. He scanned the area, from left to right. Three Lizards, those Gemini Kids, and what appeared to be a fight. They were destroying the kitchen! HIS Kitchen! His Kitchen that he worked hard to keep clean day in and day out and THEY WERE DESTROYING IT! Look at the flour! LOOK! AT! THE! FLOUR! Then, he saw the check on the wall... It wasn't nearly enough to cover what they were destroying... He growled at the lizards, and noticed the one lizard sitting off to the side. He glared at him... "OK, so you guys wanna eat?" He snapped his fingers, and Spiky would probably feel his rear end getting rather hot, since a fully-loaded stove had somehow materialized where he was sitting. "I'll cook for you. Fried lizard sound ok?" OOC: Just so ya know... I'm not on any side right about now, but a lizard beatdown is in order... |

| OOC: Well, it DOES make sense for someone in charge to barge in, given the atmosphere of the fight... That's fine with you, CheesePie, isn't it? Hey, we could turn this from a 2 on 2 into a 3 on 3! Korra finishes charging. "Hiyaaaaa!!" He whirls around and fires a gigantic electric sphere straight into his sister! The sphere is aimed elitely at the crystal in her helmet, and in a few seconds the blast is sucked into the crystal, causing Ami's body to glow white. She looks angelic, almost! (Ami is a beautiful girl to begin with, but when hovering and glowing white, it can get ordianry onlookers to stand speechless.) She focuses at the two Lizard Bros, and fires a SUPER fast beam of light into Spaky, and 2 seconds later, another one aimed at Speeky. "Gemini ARROW!!" Korra shouts. These beams do a bit above average damage, but what makes them dangerous is their ability to pierce half of all natural defenses and their high chance to cause paralysis. Ami stops glowing after attacking. Catch: Ami falls to the ground slowly, too tired to attack next turn. After attacking, Korra runs up to the newcomer, Grey, and when he gets close he slows to a walk. "Hi! Sorry about the kitchen... We're sparring, that's all! I had planned to clean it up afterward, though, along with my sister Amiachi and the three Lizard Bros, so you don't have to worry. Care to join us? You fight on our side, then Spiky can join the fight and make it a 3 on 3." The way Korrachi talks, he's pumped! P.S. Grey, we need to decide when we're having our Aspie Hunter Schweitzer vs. Grey battle. I have the ULTIMATE move-set ready! (I stayed up last night writing a Profile on my Hard Drive. Not like I'm gonna let you see it! I'll post it in the Story Forum Profiles when we finish our fight, though.) |

| Grey: "No." The man was beyond reasoning at this point. His eyes afire, he placed his hand on Korrachi's helmet, picked him up, and hurled him like a wrecking ball into the door of the walk-in fridge. He then continued to advance toward the two remaining lizard brothers... "If there's one thing, one thing above all else that I absolutely HATE to see..." His eyes tightened and his face became eerily more menacing as he clapped his hands together and charged them with the usual electricity... "It's people wasting food!!" As he approached the crouching lizard and his behindtheback brother, Grey dropped to one knee, slamming his hands into the ground and causing a large, cast-iron pot to pop out of the ground, with the two lizards inside of it. He laid his hands on the side of the pot and more electricity crackeld as it instantly filled with water. He then transmuted from the ground a stand to hold the pot on, which rose up beneath the pot and hoisted it a few feet in the air. Finally, three logs appeared beneath the pot in a teepee-type shape. Grey stood back from the pot and snapped his fingers. "So.... let's have some lunch!" The logs burst into flame, and the two lizards were suddenly well on their way to being cooked (assuming they didn't do anything about this...). (edited by Grey on 06-30-05 01:46 PM) |

Grey let Spaky's tail slap him, and grabbed it on the followthrough, gripping it tightly and whirling with Spaky in his hands in the same direction as Spiky and Speeky's tailhits, allowing for a quick dodge that ended with him hurling Spaky at the two of them. "Custodian? You could call me that, I guess. In any case..." He snapped his fingers, and a mop materialized in his hands, with a bucket at his feet. He dipped the mop in the bucket, and brandished the wet cleaning implement in front of the lizards. "...I clean up messes around here." |
