Graduation was yesterday for us over here. We went through the typical graduation ceremony, blah blah blah. However, they took us out to dinner at a really expensive restaurant afterward, and then took us to this indoor amusement park-ish place. I spent half of the evening around the Marvel vs Capcom machine, hustling anyone who would play.  We actually didn't get back until about 5 hours ago. | I graduated last year and it was a lot of fun, going to parties and stuff before and then Senior Grad Night afterwards, but then, when I finally woke up two days after graduation, it was really depressing, because I realized that I wasn't gonna see a lot of people that I had been going to school with for the past 13 years. I've only kept in touch with the best of my friends, I tried with some of my other friends, but the farther along into college we all got the less and less we talked and the less and less we had in common. I wish I hadn't lost touch with so many people, but I guess it's okay because now almost all of my friends are from college and the best friends I have are from college. This is the first summer I've had back from college and it's really wierd cause I talk to all my friends from college and stuff, which is great, but I can't really do much with them and the things that were a blast to do in college, like bowling, or just hanging out, are just not as fun with my old friends back here. I guess that's why I plan on getting an intership in Chicago or Detroit or somewhere around school instead of coming back home next summer. | |||
