Although I watch a lot of Leno, honestly he doesn't compare to Conan in my opinion.

Conan actually makes it seem like he actually likes his job, he likes what he's doing. He's random, makes fun of people, jumps at the start of the show, and easily has the best late night show band ever (Weinberg 7). Plus, there's Max. Gotta have Max.

And can Jay or David move their hair? I didn't think so.

Conan takes my vote.

I like Conan, though I don't watch him regularly (I don't really watch TV at all). I hope that when he moves to Leno's timeslot, he doesn't lose his quirkiness and become just another boring late night show host.

Conan for the win.
Letterman isn't really funny to me. Leno is cool, but not as good of a show as Conan.

Jonathan Ross... Anybody who can get hold of UK TV anywhere should watch him. He completely throws interviewees with his eccentric and unorthodox style. He completely dismantled Morrissey, who was being a real tight-arse in the interview. The greatest interview is without a doubt Jim Carrey, who went with ross like Bikini Atol went with the A-Bomb. Eventually the two started singing along with Four Poofs and a Piano The whole interview was absolute madness

That depends on the "era" really. In the span of 98-01, Leno was above all else, Conan was pretty good, as was Kilborn. Leno had a really good monologue back in the old days, and the skits that followed were absolutely hilarious. I mean, you can't top Headlines at all.

Then Andy left to control the universe and do a role next to Richard Gere. How's that working out for ya? Conan has survived being without the Richter, and we all miss him . The only thing I worry about, is that Max + Co. won't be following Conan, and that he'll have to "clean up his act" once he moves in a couple of years. I also did catch Kilborn on the Daily Show when he was still hosting it, and then again when he moved to the Late Late Show.

By era, I would rate them like so:
98-01: Leno
02-present: Conan
Letterman is seldomly funny...

Conan. He's the only one that always makes me laugh. I can also watch his interviews without giving a damn about the celebrity because I know Conan will make them interesting. I can't do that with other talkshow hosts. I've rarely been able to watch him since he left Comedy Central's 6pm rerun timeslot, since I don't stay up that late, but now that summer's here I should get back to watching him regularly.
Jon Stewart is great too, of course.
Sometimes Letterman has done things that were hilarious, but that's only when my mom would watch the show all the time, tape it, and have me watch certain segments she thought was good. She used to be big on Letterman.
I don't get why Leno is as popular as he is. Maybe he's comparatively good to other talkshow hosts. Carson Daly. My god I had to sit through that one night, the horror. Die.

Yeah, the only reason why I actually really like Leno is because he usually has the better guests, but his jokes are just usually a "Heh", while as Conan's are a realistic "rofl".

Honestly though, I don't care for Jon Stewert himself, but I love the skits with Rob Cordry, Stephan Colber, and the rest. Those are hilarious.

We don't seem to have the same kind of stuff in Australia as much, but we do have "Panel" shows (such as The Panel) that I guess would be similar.

Out of Panel style shows, I tend to like The Glasshouse.
Out of interview style shows, I like Enough Rope with Andrew Denton.

Out of the shows listed, I like Conan, but I don't watch any of those things very much, and Conan and Leno are both only available on pay TV anyways.

Letterman sucks
Conan too crazy
Leno = Perfect host

Leno is funny but not psycho like Conan. I still watch conan and I think he is hilarious but I think that Leno is a better host.
