Hm, yeah, there was the ice storm in 2001, blackout in 2003, and now this. Wonder where the 2007 blackout will be?  I remember I woke up like 10 minutes after the power went out and tried to turn on my computer.  When it didn't turn on I looked over and realized the clock was off too, and I'm just like "oh, heh." Kinda got freaked out when I turned on a portable radio and heard the news broadcast (I knew it was big because all the nearby stations were out  ). Ended up crashing at a friend's with a flashlight, portable radio, GBA, wind-up clock and a crapload of batteries. |

| The Powerplant Sturcture for Private and Buisness use are seperated of the Swiss National Railways own Powerplant Structure. According to the Press Release, there was a short-circuit at the north of St. Gotthard, and the people in charge shut that line down, problem, the other two lines where shut down cos of maintenance. These are the sole lines between northern and southern switzerland, and the Powerplants produced to much energy and had to shut down, because of to high voltage. Meanwhile in the northern port, there was to less energy and the powerplants had to uppen their production, reached their limits and shut down. So, one-by-one, every powerplant shut down and the Trains lost their energy. |

| How should I put it: That powerdown was on wdnesday, all trains are back en shedule sinces thursday. I may post pictures tomorow, have some scanned from the local news papers. |
