only LAN thing I've ever done was this one little place that went out of business last year, they had a bunch of network games and you paid money to stay for some long amount of time. and me and a few friends would go, and maybe some strangers would join us. Everyone always wanted to play Counterstrike.
Last time I went wasn't so hot though. I hated the ones where terrorists would have to plant a bomb, and I'd end up having the bomb. I don't think I wanted to be terrorists, I just didn't know how to switch teams. I'm asking teammates with the typing thing HOW DO YOU PLANT THE BOMB but everyone's a dick. No one wants to admit they're friends with the loser who can't plant a bomb. And the only other girl in the room was scraming at me PLANT THE FUCKING THING and I'm like HOW YOU CRAZY BITCH and she's like PLANT IT and finally someone kicks me out of my chair to plant it. I still don't know what he did.
I've never played Counterstrike outside of that place, so I was a real noob. But it was almost always fun.
