Relly; pop a can of spaghetti-os and toss in some cheddar cheese. Heat for a minute and a haf, and mix around. IT brings out the flavor of the sauce, and hust tastes great in general. Try it! Anything wierd you guys like to add to your food?

Well, we don't have Spaghetti-os as such here, but I think I know what you're talking about.

What I do is get two slices of bread, butter them and put them in one of those toasted sandwich making machines (the ones that seal up the edges of the bread during cooking). Then you spoon into the centre some tinned spaghetti, and put a slice of cheese on top, close it up and cook it.

My Dad used to sometimes add tinned Braised Steak and Onions too it instead of cheese.

Baked Beans also work well in this.

One thing I've noticed about me eating anything like that...I can't seem to take cheese with my tomato sauce and pasta. It never fails; I'll always turn my nose up to it. I really think it's because I'm always thinking it's going to be Parmesean or something and I don't care for the stuff.

I have a similar problem. Cheese melted on pasta is good but unless it's spaghetti I just can't eat it. It doesn't make me sick, it tastes fine but for some reason I can't finish it.

I will try that the next time I eat spaghettios. I have a couple of cans sitting in my cupboard, and after pigging out on them non-stop I got sick of them. Maybe that'll add something.
I don't know why I never thought of it myself, I love cheese on any pasta. Cheese rules.

So some of you guys really don't like cheese on your pasta? That's too bad. I like to put loads of grated parmesan/romano on my pasta. Sometimes I'll even eat small chunks of parmesan, even though it may taste a little salty.

I can't stand cheese and pasta either. Don't like Parmesean and I'll only eat fettucini alfredo if we're getting into cheese-based sauces. And if I *DID* try that trick, it would be with Alpha-Getti.

Um... hm... slices of bread with mustard, raw vegetables with coleslaw dressing on the side... can't think of much else.

EDIT: OH! Ketchup on pasta. I don't mind plain tomato paste but ketchup works.

I've always put the grated cheese on pasta and the like.. but never actual melted cheese. It sounds pretty good though, I'll keep this in mind next time I try it.

I do this all the time with shredded cheese, when I'm out of parmasan.

Although not as good, it still brings in some cheesy flavor.

Edit: Colleen, I hope you turn into Megaman and get trapped in Dr. Wily's tower.

I absolutely love Italian food, pasta's mainly. Chicken Alfredo is by far my favorite 'meal', ever.

I'm surprised how many of you don't seem to like Parmesan. One of my favorite things is freshly grated parmesan on top of a hearty bolognese, or a little on an alla panna....

I can't stand that pretend Parmesan though. You know, that horrible powder that they sell in a tin. It has to be REAL parmesan cheese.

Only the shredded stuff, yes.

But seriously, for me, parmasan is good on almost any kind of noodles.

Parmesan cheese is alright--i rarely put more Parmesan cheese after a baked pizza like some people. However, i must have it with any pasta I have.

i usually don't do weird combinations of food...although, my dad has been known to eat tortilla chips with ketchup

I never could get used to the idea of ketchup on pasta. It just seems like one of those "good on paper" ideas. Same thing with cheese.

Pamasan on Pasta = WIN!

Cheddar on Pasta = win?

I must always have mincemeat sauce to my Spaghetti, it's more of a rule than expection.

Thought I tried diffrent type of cheese with it. And Parmesan does add some nice extra taste to it.

There was a time when I would put parmesan cheese on my pizza. I saw someone do it a long time ago and thought "Not a bad idea."

You make it sound like that's a questionable thing ...

Honestly, I thought putting parmasan on pizza was basically like putting salt on french fries.

Yeah, I second that.. It's a normal thing to do, yeah?
Pretty good, too. Which is another reason why I'm surprised I never thought of the thread title.
