I have clicked on both links many times, but it's always telling me download a .php file. This may seem noobish, but I have no clue what to do with the file. I have searched the FAQs for information on how to use it, but I can't seem to find anything . Could someone tell me how to get this thing to work? |

| IRC should be a link to a Java IRC applet. The RSS links aren't real pages. You copy the link into an RSS reader or Firefox's 'live bookmark' and it tells you when new posts are made and such. | |||

| Okay, so RSS isn't really important now that I know what it does. IRC does link me to a java applet, but it never loads. I have left it up overnight before, but in the morning, it still hasn't loaded. I have also downloaded the newest java runtime 5.0 from java.com. Any suggestions for how I might beable to get this thing working? I am running Win98, but I dont think that has anything to do with why it will not load. |

If it doesnt load, you could just get mIRC. It's great.  When I was out of town for a week, I used the irc link on this board, and it didn't seem to do much for me either. mIRC works much smoother, I think. |

| Dunno why it doesn't work for you. I use the update Java Runtime Environment 5.0 and the IRC applet always worked for me. ...And I doubt it has anything to do with browsers or OS, so I'm clueless. |

| Well, I finally got IRC working! Now I have a new problem. One I'm afraid I can't fix. [21:30] Connecting... [21:30] Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect Thats what I get when It loads. Is my computer to slow for this? I have 126mb ram  . |
