My computer suddenly freezes at different times, but I don't know what causes it. It doesn't react anymore and I don't got any viruses or spyware. After a restart it sometimes says something like "DRAM timing is too tightly, please reload and try again" or something like that. I really need some help, thanks in advance.

looking around I didnt see anything related to pc freezing, because of that error, but I did see it for a game... it appears to be your ram, or so I believe.... heres something from another forum " It means your ram Timing are running to tight. Normal ram timings are 2.5-3-3-7, if they are already set to that try 3-3-3-8 in Bios. " |

oh, well then..it still looks like it might be your ram..maybe try taking it out, and putting it back it, or run memtest86 (not sure where to get it)

I know where to get memtest86, but it only show me a lot of errors and that can't be true. My RAM is new and it can't be defect. Suddenly my comp doesn't freeze anymore, maybe because I deleted some programs and files I didn't need anymore. I'm clueless with this computer.

I know why your PC is freezing... it's because you are Ice Man! Thankyou, I'm here all week *dodges tomatoes being thrown at her* Anyways, on a serious note, just because RAM is new doesn't mean that it can't be a RAM defect. I have had RAM that's been Dead On Arrival before, and had to warranty it as such. You don't happen to have any other RAM that you could try though, do you? |

If both memtest86 and your BIOS say there's a RAM problem, it's a good bet there's a RAM problem. |
