how does one change Drive/Disk Labels on the PC? | |||

By "labels" you mean the names, or the lettering? I'll assume you are using Windows.
That should work in Windows XP, and 2000, and probably other versions of Windows too, but I can't be 100% sure off the top of my head. If you want to change the drive lettering, do the following:

Obviously I'm working off Windows XP, but I know that there are slight wording differences in Windows 2000 that tend to throw a few people, and I'm not sure about other versions of Windows off the top of my head. If you wanted a non Microsoft based operating system... I'm not quite sure. It's fairly easy to rename your drive in OS X, but let me know if you need to know. |
