Take Kasumi's advice. Trust me, it'll work out in the end.

If you're in the Eastern time zone as your profile would hint at, it's only 10:55 PM. If anything, stay up a bit to study... an hour or two. Leave yourself enough time to get some rest but don't pull an all-nighter. And then study in the morning on your way to school, eating breakfast, etc.

Study now? How do you forget those kind of things, ahah.
But you're in middle school right? 14 years old.. in that case, it really isn't important.

My finals were last week and I did the same thing. I stayed up watching Tv and playing Video Games and realized I had a final at like 11PM. Im not the type to worry or care so I just went to sleep, passed my finals with Bs and Cs without ANY studying.

I say have Faith, if youve paid enough attention all year you should do fine. You shouldnt really even have to study for finals because your supposed to have already learned the stuff throught that year.

More like 3 weeks ago for me.
(Yeah, so I get out early. But that only means I go back early. So, I lose )

Just relax, and be yourself!

Seriously, the finals were really easy for me (it was my Junior year).

Seriously, for me, a good exam is a mix of 33% working in classes, 33% preparation, 34% frame of mind. Always treat the exam as part of the course, you should always know your stuff before preparation begins. Learning at the last minute == 1 / 0.
Prepare well. Cover the topics you're weakest in, and don't overwork yourself. Learning textbook definitions is the easiest way to earn cheap marks in the exam.
Finally, enter the exam feeling confident. Always put yourself in the position that you know you're going to show off everything you know. It's your subject, it's your time and you'll be fine.

Huh? What? (I don't speak French...)

I was exam-exempt this year, but I've had to take them in the past...I don't like them, the teachers expect us to remember things we learned ten months ago and have never covered since.

I am the opposite. There have been several times when I have taught (or retaught, depending) myself the material on the test as I was taking it. But then again, tests are my fort

Dont freak out... thats a sure sign youre going to make stupid mistakes like misplacing a negative sign, or using past tense instead of present tense... even bubbling in the wrong letter has happened to me once or twice...

Treating it like a standardized test doesnt hurt. Eat breakfast, get a good nights sleep, and a positive attitude helps.

Finals are simply a showing of if you even carred enough to pay attention during class this year If you know the material, memory blanks should work themselves out

I haven't done much heavy-duty studying for anything...usually, I only need to study if the test is about memorization, like in science class when we had to memorize the names of various pieces of lab equipment, parts of the human anatomy, parts of a cell, etc.

i hate tests that memorize--particularly when you have a ton of stuff you that you are expected to know by heart... but since I'm headed towards a medical field, i guess it is understandable...

anyways, if I have a final that has notes, then I don't worry as much for the test

I'm surprised a lot of people aren't even GETTING Kasumi's reference.

I pretty much got B's and B+'s last term and that was with just doing a little bit of studying. Hint: paying attention in class *REALLY* helps come review time. If you know even the main points of a certain topic, you'll do just fine and it's easy to fill in the blanks.
