| I've been at ACMLM for 3 years and have been from completely innactive to posting daily. Let's get this going like the rest, in the past year i've... +Made so many new friends +Dealt with a year of college +Handled a roommate from hell +Improved my relationship with my family +Found way too many new bands to fit onto my shuffle +Gotten completely ebliterated, and realized that it's more fun to just be a little woosey +Learned how to cope with being away from great friends for extended periods of time +Finaly figured out what I want to do in life (working for Alpine Electronics, can't wait til internship next year) +Found the woman of my dreams (or, at least for now, perfect as can be, but so far away) I think that's pretty good for a year of being 19. |

| Been here for almost exactly 2 years. I've been banned (on the old board at least), a normal user, and now am on staff. I guess this is where I talk about my life over the past 2 years? That's the idea I've gotten in this thread. *Started up gaming (design) classes in High School, I've been waiting to do so for years. *Learned about programming. I enjoy it, even though I'm not so great at it. *Typing and grammar has improved thanks to message boards (again, I'm new to message boards entirely. Only been posting for about 2 years, so I've come a long way) *Got into Progressive and Power Metal. *My videogame collection has shot up amazingly over the past couple of years. *I run my own site [Xeogaming], but I've been procastinating for months in not putting up a main site. I had one before, but someone messed up my database and I was using phpNuke. Don't use free CMS's. *Made some online friendlies here and at my board and through all the boards I've been too. *Now I have a job at Jiffy Lube. About everyone at my work likes rap and smokes. *Been seeing all the new great movies in theaters. *Started mowing lawns for extra cash. *Moved into a new house, where I've gotten the entire basement to myself. I think my parents finally realized I'm growing up (I'll have pictures soon). Oh yeah, still looking for love.  That's it. |

| A year? Let's see here... In the last year, I finished college classes, moved, had 2 akward "Relationships" if they can be called that, gotten de-adminned, gotten re-adminned, got a job, worked my ass off (still do), souped up my car, and installed a hell of a lot of DirecTV. In the entire time I've been here, I've grown more tolerant, wiser, more insightful, and more skeptical. I'm the most senior admin on the board aside from Acmlm and Emuz, I've been here since day 1. I've seen the board go up and down several times, and I like drastic upswing it's undergoing currently  |

| In the past year, I've gotten back into my failed relationship, and gotten back out of it again. I've moved house four times, I've gotten a permanent job, etc. Here, I have been given a local mod position again (I resigned last time cause I was too busy) and this time I'm not too busy to quit either, and have been enjoying looking after Modern Art. |

| I've been on this board since like... day two. This is the only real place i can consider "home" on the internet, as odd as it sounds. To be honest, this place totally changed me and who i am. This place really gave me friends that i would have never thought existed otherwise, and i've become a hell of a lot stronger, emotionally that is, because of this board. Not to mention i've gained a hell of a lot of knowledge on various subjects. That's pretty much it in simplest terms. In the past year here though... I've -Gotten into an accident, and gotten a new car -Met a ton of awesome people IRL, thanks to TGA -Got a nice girlfriend -Broke up with said girlfriend -Two more semesters of school -and my fighting game skills have improved a ton (edited by Valcion on 06-20-05 10:25 PM) |

| It'll be four years for me this Nov. and from then to here, a lot has happened and I hace changed a lot. I won't go into details or anything, because that'll take way too long, but for the year to come, I plan on posting here at a certain pace, own my own Gamestop and get married. | Actually, I've been here for about 2,5 years, now that I think about it. Wow. And since then, I have.. - Gotten more than familiar enough with t3h intarwebz. - Learned about emulation and rom hacking (well, some of that was before I came here, though.) - Gotten drunk on several occasions. - Figured out that I like metal. - Graduated from high school. - Got a job. - Figuring out that I'm probably gonna study meteorogy, when that time comes. | Been here 786 days. Lets see... Was banned on the old went back to a regular member (when the new board went up) and just recently became staff. In that time I.... - Entered high school - Made tons of friends - Changed high schools to a more professional (better) one - Got to take college courses and completed one year at ITT-Technical Institute Studied: Networking, Operating Systems, Windows Operating Systems - Got my own notebook - Learned PHP and MySQL - Got a car - Opened Anti Reality - Became staff on Vizzed - Been searching for a job, applied at 50+ places (not one has called back) - Moved into a way bigger house - Worked on remodling the house - Helped members with their 'plugins' - Made my own 'plugins' - Started Adeon I dont know what else to say.:/ |
