Hello Im new here.Ive been to the new persons page. How do you get a game from a cartridge to a computer? Do you rely only on internet downloads to hack a game? Is it possible to adjust a cartridge game and then somehow store it back on a cartridge? Forgive my incompetence |

Originally posted by wraith Well, here's the basics: 1. To get stuff from your (I assume Gameboy/GBC/GBA) cartridge, you need either a GBA backup system... or flash linker... they're pretty much the same thing. 2. To get stuff from the comp to your cart, you need a flash linker. 3. If you want CONSOLE games, then you would need to have an EEPROM thing... 4. Any editing you do to a game program can only be done on the computer. I have yet to see a program that lets you openly edit a game's program on a cartridge Hope that helps a bit. And if you want to know how to hack the games, go read documents on it... there's plenty around this community... or go to www.dragoneyestudios.net cause they have good docs too... actually, maybe they have docs and we don't... Oh well, check there anyway. |

There's a flash cart thread here somewhere on this forum... Off: Kinda surprised that you're 28 and can't get your grammer straight... That would help your posterity a bit... Don't get me wrong, I ain't flamin' you, but it would make ya look a little more presentable, that's all. (edited by Clockworkz on 04-07-04 06:09 PM) |
