| How to fix it: In register.php, look for this ... if($action=='register'){ ... and change $action to $_POST[action], to make it specify that the "action" variable is coming from the register form and not the URL  Sure, it's still possible to just go in the Register page and flood there by registering the normal way, but at least it'd be slower and more time consuming ...Of course, that'd have to be done on every AcmlmBoard he decides to flood, and whatever flood did get done must be cleaned up  (should be easy, just a DELETE query)(edited by Acmlm on 03-19-04 12:00 AM) |

Yeah, it looks like someone was able to stop it -- but not before the number of users climbed to 5,506 -- and the highest number of users online at once was over 900.  |
