It's been a while since I post anything but here it goes.... I was working on (almost putting the finishing touches) my Dr Mario game but my computer crash on me, losing all my editing tools and hacks. After months of hell tracking down all my stuff, I restarted "Dr. Mario World" but ran into a problem. All the throw blocks (after picking them up) look like this: Can anyone tell me the sprite command number for the throw blocks (the sprite that Mario holds in his hand?). Soon i'll post more screenshots of my hack. |

I don't know if this helps, but the throw blocks are sprite 5C. If you have done anything to modify that sprite, maybe with MWR, then that could be the culprit

Thats exactly what I did, use MWR to try and make a Hammer Bro (stupid me) and must've changed that thinking it was unused, Thanks EDIT: In MWR sprite 5C says the checker platform, I don't think it's the throw blocks. Throw blocks aren't sprites. They are regular tiles. To make sure that its not just that one level, try going to a COMPLETLY UNEDITED level, and insert a throw block. Now test out that level in ZSNES or something, and see if that same graphics probelm happens. I think its probably 1 of 2 things: 1. You may be using messed up files for the level that the graphics are glitched in. The ExGFX files may be to big, resulting in glitches. 2. You may have edited the graphics by accident in YY-chr and now its messing up the throw blocks. Both are easly fixable, but just test in an unedited level first. EDIT: *Reads HH post below* I had no clue that it was. (edited by Keikonium on 06-15-05 06:22 PM) |

When you hold a throw block, it's a sprite.

The throw block is actually sprite 53, not 5C.

Its sprite 53, thats the one I changed with MWR. I should'nt have. I have to change the graphics back with MWR by copying and paste sprite 53 from the original rom to my hack .Thanks guys.
