I heard someone the other day pronounce it as 'Ma - zilla'. I tried to correct him, but he insisted it was so... I'm assuming everyone pronounces the 'zilla' part like Godzilla.

I prounce it as 'Moe - Zilla'. It just seems right.

I'm no expert, but in English in general vowels are pronounced short unless followed by another vowel. Since there is no vowel after the "o" it only seems right to pronounce it short.

Since I don't know how to post phonetic translation:
"M" like in any word starting with it: Mountain, mad etc.
"o" with a short stress, like in "dock"
"z" - hard pronounciation like in "once"
"i" - like in "if"
"ll" - usually double consonants are spoken longer, like in "mill"
"a" - British English (!) pronounciation of "dance"
So, pretty much as written I'm stressing it

On TechTV, they all pronounce it Moe-zilla like what JaCroy said but my computer teacher prounounces it Ma-zilla.
