Damn you did beat me.  I was going to post this yesterday after seeing it on the news, but I forgot.  Blame on the decline of the US dollar, that's an huge factor.  I can understand how IKEA is so succeful, most furnitures I have at home is from IKEA... the competitors' furniture are expensive. tinzeee: A metric fuckload.  Rin: I think they've only actually had 'em on once. Forgot which ep, but it was this season. I think Fight Club probably did more for them than Queer Eye. I saw a documentary on Ikea a while ago... pretty interesting, their whole backstory. Not much of a surprise that he'd be loaded. He does live a modest life, and he says his only indulgence is flowers.  They're building one nearby... they've been really committed to hiring people from the area, training them... they even advertised by setting up a room on the Green.  |
