| I hate any board that has a "threaded" structure (meaning that the replies to a thread are each on a separate page, individually linked from the index page, as opposed to a "flat" board such as this one, where only threads are linked on the main forum page and replies are listed together vertically down one page). | |||

| The Internet Movie Database's forums. I love the actualy site, but the forums are awful. There's a gamefaqs-esque level of fanboyism. (Just go to the LOTR boards  ) People are petty, the posts are useless most of the time, and grammar is undefined.Ugh, good site, bad forums.  |

| Gamefaqs is intolerable when fanboys are allowed to run free. But I generally enjoy the SNES boards, and they're fairly well moderated and most of the people there are decent. The FFIII (VI) board is an example of a good gamefaqs forum, in my experience. They have a lot of knowledgable people hacking the game there and they're generally receptive to helping people as well. | |||

| I enjoy GameFAQs. Just stay away from the main social boards (factions, boards that can be claimed by one person (yes, they allow that on certain systems), are fun quite often), and it's OK. Once you guys see GameFAQs spinoff boards... you'll know what crappy message boards are. The two off hand that I can remember are: The Outboards - http://www.theoutboards.com/boards/ whiteFyre - http://www.whitefyre.com/boards/ Think GameFAQs is bad after seeing those two? Hell, the GameFAQs LUE is better than those. The majority of the EZBoards/ProBoards are just stupid. n00bs making one and saying : "OMG!! I'm so l33t, I heav a message baord!!!!!111!shift-fourteen!" |

| Filbboard, some times, it's just bad, but the team works to make it a better place. Like reducing the signature-size to 200 Pixels or something in 1024 resolution, still to big in my oppinion. (once, it was 380) Then there is Animexx, a Animeboard, good club, but bad boards. a LOT of fanboyism. contrair to Mangaforum.org or board.acmlm.org. |

| Go here Now, click on a thread. If the first post has a link, click on it. If you arrive at a board, it sucks. (Or just check out all the threads with "forum" in their name. They usually lead to boards.) As for the Nintendo.no board itself, it was horrible about a year ago. Lazy admins who didn't delete spam or ban idiots, good users getting annoyed at idiots and the admins' inactivity left the board, idiots invited their idiot friends over... Yeah, not a fun place. Finally, the staff decided to promote some users, which helped a bit. The problem was, of course, that these newly promoted mods couldn't ban the idiots, and the admins still didn't care enough to do anything. Eventually, the high and mighty uber-admin decided to promote a few of the mods to admins, get a few new mods, and demote most of the old, inactive admins. So the board is pretty decent now. |

| You want suck? I'll give you suck. That one was originally for a small group of friends, most of whom don't use it anymore/only use it to insult or impersonate people. That said, it can be pretty funny. In a depraived kind of way. |
