| No, it's not double jeopardy. This was a CIVIL, not criminal court, there were NO criminal charges associated with this. IF he was found guilty, they would have taken it to criminal court. This was if the jury found him guilty, not beyond a "reasonable doubt". Reasonable doubt is for criminal cases. Because he was found innocent in a civil court, one can assume another jury would NEVER find him guilty beyond ANY "reasonable doubt" in a criminal case. |
