| Many people liked this new feature for Acmlmboards, but it didn't seem to work with 1.A2. This is a very, very slightly updated (or patched, whichever you prefer to say) version that works perfectly well with 1.A2 boards. All you need to do, is open up the file and edit in forum id's for $excluded and $superexclude which are explained on the quoted lines. Then upload it, and you're done. Download This page shows all the recent 50 posts, via linking them to threads. So, it could somewhat be viewed as the "New" forum ... I guess?  Just thought I'd show this to everyone.  *Note: I take no credit for the code, and I'm unsure who coded it. But, I've seen it at a few other places for download, so I doupt I'm violating anything here. All I did was update it to work in 1.A2, and add in new variables to hide threads, which was an idea taken from Acmlm+Erk. (edited by Darth Xeodious on 06-07-05 01:34 PM) |

| Nice! My board's not active enough for this to be useful there, but it's still nice to see older mods converted to work with the newest version of the forums. Now, if you could make Weasel's ABNews thinger work with v1.92, I would love you forever. Or until some other scamp came along... | |||

Yes, I am in fact using v1.92. Yes, I know that v1.A2 is out. However, after reading through the initial threads after it's release, and all the bugs it has, I'm not going to upgrade until it's stable. I'll know it's stable when Jesper upgrades this board to v1.A2. If Jesper won't upgrade this board to the current version, there's no way I'm gonna upgrade my board...  *ponders what AcmlmBoard Mods1 if his own that he can attempt to bring up to date with at least v1.92* 1 - They aren't really hacks, so I'm not gonna call them that ever again. Mods is the way to go! |

Like your yname tutorial, from there I made an msn variable, and it even seems some of your stuff has been permanently input to the Acmlmboard code, or "ideas" at least, like the User Title, and other things like that. ... besides that though, you should make the switch. Hmm this is kind of like my code that I needed help with? Latest 50 threads.. I'll check it out because I can't get the color of the names correct on mine  I would go to 1.A2 Elric, the bugs are easily fixed. |
