| I have a laptop (IBM thinkpad A20M) with windows XP, but the battery is not working right. It only lasts 20 minutes and I have to use the car charger I made, but my computer beeps like crazy when I use it because it the 12 volts is not enough to charge the battery so it just keeps beeping it's charging/not charging alarm which is not in the software, it is built in to the circuits of the computer so I cannot disable it. | |||

| I have to have a family computer too. Not with different users, thank goodness. For Macs at least, it requires that the main user have a password to install ANYTHING, and it's really annoying. When my dad got his own computer (another Mac), he did that. It's infinitely better than this one, but I never used it because asking him to type in his ten digit random numbers password every time I want to do something really sucks. One time, being a computer retard that he is, he managed to lock up his own files. Then he accused me of doing it and saying I was hiding porn and all kinds of horrible things. I've never done that, and it didn't even make sense. HE'S the one insisting to have everything password protected, that's not suspicious? Jackass. Anyway.. um.. I plan to get a laptop sometime in the future. It seems more convenient to me. I'm in no rush, the only thing that really bothers me about this comp is how there's no SNES netplay available for Macs.. and my computer wouldn't be fast enough to handle it anyway.  |
