| Normal rules apply here, it's a one-on-one. --- Alone at the top of Spiral Mountain one night was a rare blue-crested breegull. He had chosen the mask of the night to hide him while he performed his wicked, albeit freaking hilarious task. Under the dim moon, he paced around an odd, square machine, giggling and snickering as he tinkered with gizmos here and there. Blue Breegull: Heheheh...just a few more minutes... The odd machine was set at the top of the small, spiral-pathed mountain for optimal efficiency. The mountain itself was surrounded by a small moat, and past that were fields that stretched a good distance before reaching the canyon walls. Yes, the reception would be good indeed. Blue pounded on a button, which would set the machine in motion. Blue: Yes...it works! Now, everyone around the world will be utterly confused and scared as they hear a belching sound emminate through this machine, amplified 1,000,000,000 times!!! Blue chuckled evily again, overcome by the pure genious of his insane plan. Upon hearing the charge-up sound, he stuck his wings against his ears for protection against the loud sound, though it would hardly help. The machine suddenly exploded, blasting Blue back against the far canyon wall. He emerged from the blackened landscape, outraged that his machine didn't work as planned. Blue: WHA?! What's the meaning of this!? I worked days with the blasted contraption to check for flaws...must've been a jam in the jiggy-warpen...uh-oh. For the machine to play a sound around the entire world, it first had to open numerous portals for the belch to sound through. Since that part of the machine glitched, a portal could have opened anywhere, warping anyone into the area...and they could be quite angry at being caught in the explosion... Blue Breegull nervously scanned the area, hoping no unfortunate soul was pulled through in the glitch... (edited by CheesePie on 06-03-05 04:27 AM) |

| Jaques was suddenly sent flying through the portal, to land, hard. "Interesting method of evil planning. While the explosion did nothing to me, I'm afraid I will have to terminate you to stop your evil plot." Jaques drew his sword, and looked into his enemy's eyes. His own boring deep into Blue's, seeming to not quiet glow. Suddenly he inhaled strongly, and exhaled a large blast of fire toward Blue, ten feet tall and for every foot of distance, growing another and increasing temperature, starting from 300 degrees, and for every foot increasing temperature by twenty. |

| Sorry for the long reply...net problems. ---- Blue: Dangit, these things always have to happen, don't they. Look, sir, I'm sorry about the explosion, but - GAH!!! Blue Breegull was too busy talking to notice the hot beam of fire, which hit him and once again sent him flying against the wall. There was a splash of water as Blue activated one of his special water eggs, putting the fire out on himself. Blue unsteadily rose, once again blackened with soot. Blue: Oh, you'll pay for that one alright! You'll paaaay!!! Blue, now angered, charged at Jaques. At reaching a ten foot distance, he began spinning wildly toward him, wings drawn (a breegull is a type of large bird). This attack would deal minor damage with each strike of Blue's wings, but the small attacks would add up to deal a rather large amount. |

| Just as the charge started, Jaques pulled out his own wings, and jumped, picking up speed, and Blue missed Jaques. "I know you can do better than that." Suddenly a very large rock came out of the ground, and was sent as a projectile at Blue. |

| Blue: ...I probably could do better than that, you're right. Blue nimbly side-stepped the rock projectile, and it crashed harmlessly into the field behind him. Blue: Now, leave me alone! I'm armed! Breegulls, male or female, have the uncanny ability to produce eggs out of their beaks. Strangely, these eggs can be used as weapons when 'shot' correctly. Blue shot two of his special nuclear eggs at Jaques, with a one-second pause in between the two. If Jaques got hit, there was a chance that he would be poisoned. |

| Jaques was fortunatley already moving at a high speed, and the eggs missed. "Perhaps we should redo the rock." The rock came up again, repairing itself. This time the rock would home in on Blue, and avoid any shields. This was only possible because it was controled by Jaques' mind. EDIT: Typo fixed. (edited by Vulkar on 06-08-05 08:26 AM) |

| Blue: Whoah, he's fast...hold on a second - ! Blue turned around just in time to see the rock coming again. He ducked swiftly, and the rock brushed past the feather that stuck out of the top of his head. It had missed him by mere inches. Blue: So, you can levitate things, huh? That's a real good power, oh yes. But not as good as this! Some upbeat music, played by a banjo, started playing as Blue Breegull stuck his wings out in front of him, which then glowed gold. Blue was using his Wonderwing technique, which made him completely invincible and harmed any foe that he touched! Now reassured of his strength, he charged straight at Jaques. Blue: I hope he doesn't try to block this with a low kick... |

| No, don't worry, I play fair. Though he may be invincible, he can only do it for a very short time. Also, there is no guarantee that he hits his enemies. The best you could do during the time is keep away, or charge an attack, etc. It's more defensive than offensive. --- Blue Breegull noticed that he was running low on gold feathers, which he needed for using his Wonderwing attack. Blue: Meh, it's pointless wasting gold feathers on the likes of you. NOW DIE ALREADY! BLEEARG!!! A lever appeared out of thin air in front of Blue, which he immediately pulled backward. Blue: ANVIL SPELL!!! Suddenly, from out of the sky, and anvil plummeted dangerously toward Jaques! The damage dealt by the anvil would be large, not to mention the cuncussion could stun a foe. |

| "Still won't learn your lesson..." just as the anvil was about the hit, it stopped right over Jaques, and went at Blue. It would chase him wherever he went, and dodge any obstacles. Even if it was destroyed, all of its peices would still chase him. during the distraction, Jaques began to charge the death spell. EDIT ooc: I won't be on until saturday. I hope you don't mind. | Blue: Yipe! Blue ran at the anvil and jumped on top of it, then sprung from that position to its other side, closer to Jaques. Blue: Okay, so projectiles are out...if it's not levitation...there must be invisible peope lifting the objects!!! Or something. All right, John, let's go! Blue was refering to Jaques when he said John. With one mighty backflip, he leapt to the other side of Jaques, so now Jaques was between Blue and the anvil! Blue hoped that the anvil would still track his location, and hit Jaques along the way. In case that didn't work, Blue prepared another attack. Blue: I've faught many tougher foes than you before! Just watch this! Blue pulled out an odd magic wand from behind him, and started twirling it in his talon. What would he do with it? |

| Blue: Meh, it's smart...gotta try harder! Blue Breegull reached into his mini-backpack and pulled out a pair of sneakers, which would increase his speed. He had them on, when - THONK Blue tumbled over some rocks, and noticed his wand go flying into the stream. Also, the anvil swerved around and came right back at him. Blue: Ugh. Still, no great loss - I got these!!! Blue ran at a super-fast speed toward Jaques, and then back flipped to gain air. Once flying, he dived at Jaques at an incredible speed toward him! This attack would deal heavy damage. Blue: Argh! BEAK BOMB!!! Also, with his increased speed, the anvil seemed to have a harder time keeping up with Blue. |

| ooc: Harder? Trust me, never try to go faster than someones mind. ic: The anvil simply increased speed, to double whatever Blue was going at. Also, in response to the attack, Jaques, already flying, pulled out a dagger, and then jumped to the side, with the metal dagger staying in place to stab Blue in the stomach. |

| Blue was a master flyer, and swerved out of the way of the dagger long before he reached it. Also, with the turning motion, he was able to face the anvil just as it reached him. Quickly, he pulled out his trusty void pack, a bag that can store an infinite number of objects. The anvil flew inside, and Blue closed the bag. Blue: Good. I've never been one to waste anvils. Blue flew over to the small mountain and landed on it, and from there spat out two more nuclear eggs at Jaques. Also, the distance from Jaques gave him time to fire a few more projectiles - a water egg, which would deal little damage, followed by a thunder egg, which deal a whole bunch of damage - if Jaques was hit by the water egg. Blue: That'll hold you off...but now, I don't need a staff for magic. Blue also pulled out a simple brown bag, with which he could cast the very same magic as with the wand. He didn't have any more time to do anything, though. |

| As the two nuclear eggs rushed at the flying Jaques, he swerved out of the way, and hit something nearby, only slightly effecting him with the shockwave. Next came the water egg. As it was coming close, it stopped in midair, and fell to land on the ground, exploding. Laslty, the lightning. Jaques pulled up his large shield, and using it, it blocked the lightning. Jaques was finally at the peak of the mountain. "Impressive flying, but it's time for you to finally fall." Jaques put his sword into a strong poture, and took five swings at blue, first on the neck, then one at each arm(whichever was most defensless first), then one at the legs, and a final at the neck again. Jaques finished off the attack by attemptsing to stab Blue in his midsection. |

| Blue: Finally fall? Not yet! What do you think I am, a gruntling? Blue crossed his wings over his chest and stepped backward over the cliff. He fell down to the platform below, and all of Jaques' strikes missed. From behind the cliff, Blue prepared his spell. Blue: All right, shaman magic, let's go. Now, uh, what's the phrase? Ah, right. | Blue: You can bend energy? I've never heard of THAT before. The other bolts came at Blue. Blue: Psst, you forgot about my shoes! Blue sped off, away from the lightning, and avoided every bolt. Once he had run into an open spot on the field, he took flight again. From there, he circled around Jaques for a few seconds, and then dived! As he soared through the air, the tip of Blue's beak glowed crimson, charged with force. This attack would deal a hefty amount of damage if it connected, all right. | Jaques jumped to the side, and attempted to catch Blue's beak. If he succeeded, he would swing blue to the gound, and deliver a bonechushing punch to the neck. |
