I want to hack roms but I don't know how. I don't know C+ I don't know how to read code I have never stepped one foot into a programing class Since most of you are rom hackers, what do you use? Or do most of you make your own program? Where can I go to learn? |

Wrong forum kthx. *moves from emulation to rom hacking* Most rom hacking happens using a level editor or graphics editor. The only time you need to understand how to program is when you're dealing with a game's actual program, or, ASM. But if you're a beginner, then the first step to take is play some rom hacks, hack some over-hacked games (like SMW, SMB, Castlevania, etc) which have decent editors for them.
