Well a few days ago i thought it would be nice if the affiliate box got its data from a mysql database, which makes it much easyier and quickier to add new affiliates yes well ive got the affiliatebox loading data from a mysql db but i cant seem to get my admin panel file working by that i mean the the file that adds affiliates and such to the database heres my current code i cant see why it isnt working. source is here http://www.normmatt.mihopa.com/aff.txt

Are you getting a MySQL error?

I copied your code and uploaded it unto my server, and it didn't even work.

Lines 2-5 aren't needed, since they're already in dbinfo.php, and you're calling that.
Then change line 7 to:
require '../lib/function.php';

I'm not sure if that's the answer you're looking for, but this file is in my admin directory and now links correctly, but the file itself doesn't fully work (tables are messed up, does't call the current affiliates, then again I'd need the table for that. )

Of course, you should really should add an if($isadmin) at the beginning of your code.

Ok well i just decided it would be much easyier to just edit the ipbans.php file in the admin folder and i have and its working right now except for my edit screen which i still need to work on once thats working i will make a release of it.
