| I just need to get this off my chest..... Me and my bro went to a reception they were having for students graduating this year and stuff.. the food sucked but that dosnt matter... We left a little early to wate for the bus, we get out there and the bus is early so we start running for it, The driver can see us.. but dosnt stop anyway... so we wate an hour for the next one.. one of my friends form scholl comes up and is talking to us.. the only seeting place to wate for the bus is a bench a short distance from where the put the new stop (under the freeway bridge in a dangerous spot) so were walking over to it and my brother is running after it to make sure it wates for us (i have osteoperosis and walk with a cane... so im slow) The stupid prick driving the bus tells my little brother "Im late, gotta get rolling i cant wate for your borther, so when comes up to the red light ive managed to run up to it and have to bang on the door to get let it, so i stand in the door way so everyone else running can catch up, at this time the driver is cussing at me and calling me fat for standing in the door way, and im calling him an asshole for being late and not wating for me and not doing his job, so when my friend gets in he has a note pad and takes down his badge number and bus number and complained when he got home... This asshole buss driver tryes to do the same thing to a man and his pregent wife a few stops later... The day dosnt stop there! We got home and decided to go to lunch at jack-inthe-box cuz we were both hungry and we get a call from one of our old family friends diane. her husband mike had died last week and the funural was sunday and for some stupid reasion she couldnt get a hold of us... so that was really depressing cuz he was a really cool dude.... After we eat i have to go to work.. i get to work and the assisnt manager tells me that Missy our store manager gave someone else my shift and im not being alloud to work because i was a no show yesterday....The thing was, when i had gotten ahold of the sechudal for this week when i work last i wasnt put on monday but just today and wendsday... After a few times of being written up for no good reason and the fact that shes her self is not following dresscode and letting some employes do what shes doing, leads me to realize that im being discriminated by her for my sex (male) and my sexual orentation (stright) See shes gay and she has been hireing allot of gay minoritys lately... im white... she gave my shift to a guy jason, who is gay, a minority, recently hired, and getting allot more hours then me, and ive been here for 2 years... i wish we had our old manager back... but she got another store now.. I called her boss the Distrect manager and left a message saying i want to file a formal complaint and im going to make an appointment with the school attorney to see what else i can do... sorry i just had to get this out |

| I feel ya about the bus driver thing man. There used to be this one bus driver in my college town that wouldn't let you in with a popcan in your hand. One time I ran to catch up with a bus that was about to leave and my friend was trailing behind me. Keep in mind that there was absolutely nobody else on this bus, and it was summer in a college town so speed is not a priority for this driver. I reached him just before he was about to pull out, and he wouldn't let me in b/c I had a pop I had just bought. So I dumped it out right in front of him, and he started driving off. I pounded on the door b/c I was starting to get pissed. Then he acted like he wouldn't let me throw away my popcan in his trashcan that is for PUBLIC use. So I said, "You're asking me to litter, you asshole?" So I walked in anyways and threw the can in his waste basket. By then my friend had caught up to me and she wasn't sure why I was so irritated. As we were trying to find our seats the asshole floored the gas and we nearly fell over. The guy has been fired like three times from that busing organization. | I know what you mean about bus drivers. There is one that gets pissed at me for not knowing the exact place i want to go, then if I don't say im a child he then says to me an an angry tone "if you don't say you're a child i will charge you adult prices" even though I'm 14 and I look 14, he already knew I was under 16 so only had to pay child price... they are just mother f***** in my opinion. |
