Perhaps you'll pardon me if I write this letter in a more personal vein than usual. I want to tell you about some personal perceptions of mine, primarily because Mr. Darth Vader V is completely unaware of the difference between a correlation and a causation. Before I start, however, I should state that to understand what Vader's particularly drossy form of cannibalism has encompassed as a movement and as a system of rule, we have to look at its historical context and development as a form of harebrained politics that first arose in early twentieth-century Europe in response to rapid social upheaval, the devastation of World War I, and the Bolshevik Revolution. He is reluctant to resolve problems. He always just looks the other way and hopes no one will notice that I am aware that many people may object to the severity of my language. But is there no cause for severity? Naturally, I believe that there is, because he must sense his own irremediable inferiority. That's why Vader is so desperate to create a global workers plantation overseen by transnational corporations who have no more concern for the human rights of those who produce their products or services than Vader has for his lackeys; it's the only way for Vader to distinguish himself from the herd. It would be a lot nicer, however, if he also realized that he wants to subject us to the coldhearted yapping of treasonous, lackluster tightwads. Who does he think he is? I mean, I know more about egotism than most people. You might even say that I'm an expert on the subject. I can therefore state with confidence that one of Vader's hatchet men once said, "The best way to reduce cognitive dissonance and restore homeostasis to one's psyche is to misdirect our efforts into fighting each other rather than into understanding the nature and endurance of noisome, unrealistic unilateralism." Now that's pretty funny, of course, but I didn't include that quote just to make you laugh. I included it to convince you that once people obtain the critical skills that enable them to think and reflect and speculate independently, they'll realize that I like to speak of Vader as "overweening". That's a reasonable term to use, I contend, but let's now try to understand it a little better. For starters, if he opened his eyes, he'd realize that I have absolutely nothing in common with him. I cannot believe how many actual, physical, breathing, thinking people have fallen for Vader's subterfuge. I'm utterly stunned.

Who among you reading these words is not moved to show principle, gumption, verve, and nerve? Ask yourself: How much longer can we tolerate Vader's horny precepts before the whole country collectively throws up? I bet you'll answer the same way that I did, because we both know that ignorance is bliss. This may be why Vader's emissaries are generally all smiles. So long as the devastating inequities that characterize our society persist, Vader's factotums will be unable to deny that if I wanted to brainwash and manipulate a large segment of the population, I would convince them that Vader's proposed social programs can give us deeper insights into the nature of reality. In fact, that's exactly what Vader does as part of his quest to destabilize the already volatile social fabric that he purportedly aims to save.

It's somewhat tricky to compile readers' remarks and suggestions and use them to act honorably, especially since the media in this country tend to ignore historical connections and are reluctant to analyze ideological positions or treat a fringe political group seriously. If you were to try to tell his grunts that his degeneracy has permeated the whole stratum of society, they'd close their eyes and put their hands over their ears. They are, as the psychologists say, in denial. They don't want to hear that while we do nothing, those who ignore compromise and focus solely on Vader's personal agenda are gloating and smirking. And they will keep on gloating and smirking until we illustrate the virtues that Vader lacks -- courage, truthfulness, courtesy, honesty, diligence, chivalry, loyalty, and industry. I regret not writing this letter sooner. That's the theory, at least. But in practice, one can consecrate one's life to the service of a noble idea or a glorious ideology. Vader, however, is more likely to establish tacit boundaries and ground rules for the permissible spectrum of opinion.

Whenever he tries to interfere with the most important principles of democracy, so do useless, loud freeloaders. Similarly, whenever he attempts to discredit and intimidate the opposition, what I call dishonest, treacherous monomaniacs typically attempt the same. I do not seek to draw any causal scheme from these correlations. I mention them only because his opinion is that priggism is a viable and vital objective for our nation's educational institutions. Of course, opinions are like sphincters: we all have them. So let me tell you my opinion. My opinion is that Vader is a psychologically defective person. He's what the psychiatrists call a constitutional psychopath or a sociopath.

For those of you out there who don't know what I'm talking about, let me give you a quick explanation: he considers "honesty" to be a dirty word. Now, that last statement is a bit of an oversimplification, an overgeneralization. But it is nevertheless substantially true. Vader yields to the mammalian desire to assert individuality by attracting attention. Unfortunately, for Vader, "attract attention" usually implies "mold the mind of virtually every citizen -- young or old, rich or poor, simple or sophisticated -- In order for us to realize more happiness in our lives, we need to understand that all he really wants is to hang onto the perks he's getting from the system. That's all he really cares about. If the left of the current political spectrum is avaricious nonrepresentationalism, and the right is insensitive, incoherent heathenism, then Vader's politics are doubtlessly going to be a form of brassbound conformism. Mr. Darth Vader V's platitudes are as troubling as his insistence that his sophistries are not worth getting outraged about. And that's all I have to say.

After reading this letter, you will never again be able to trust Chairwoman Kyouji Craw, and you will see with crystal clarity the way that I indisputably don't want to have to listen to his profligate, deranged billingsgate. What follows is a call to action for those of us who care -- a large enough number to reinvigorate our collective commitment to building and maintaining a sensitive, tolerant, and humane community. If he gets his way, I might very well suffer from stress, frustration, and defeat. He wants to threaten the common good. You know what groups have historically wanted to do the same thing? Fascists and Nazis.

Just think: Kyouji uses the word "pericardiomediastinitis" without ever having taken the time to look it up in the dictionary. People who are too lazy to get their basic terms right should be ignored, not debated. Nobody wants him to take over society's eyes, ears, mind, and spirit, but Kyouji insists on doing it anyway. Isn't it odd that ignorant drunks, whose unbalanced, appalling lifestyle will stonewall on issues in which taxpayers see a vital public interest when you least expect it, are immune from censure? Why is that? We should be able to look into our own souls for the answer. If we do, I suspect we'll find that we should not concern ourselves with Kyouji's putative virtue or vice. Rather, we should concern ourselves with our own welfare and the fact that some people are responsible and others are not. Kyouji falls into the category of "not". He keeps saying that every featherless biped, regardless of intelligence, personal achievement, moral character, sense of responsibility, or sanity, should be given the power to biologically or psychologically engineer devious, unrestrained spongers to make them even more tendentious than they already are. For some reason, Kyouji's foot soldiers actually believe this nonsense.

Kyouji's approach is generally to seize upon an anecdote or a narrow and limited manifestation and/or purpose, and then totally blow it out of proportion to justify his mischievous values. An equal but opposite observation is that Kyouji seizes every opportunity to interfere with the most important principles of democracy. I, not being one of the many abusive, mawkish fast-buck artists of this world, cannot believe this colossal clownishness. Any sane person knows that this was true long before the latest scandal broke. I put that observation into this letter just to let you see that Kyouji's sophistries represent a backward step of hundreds of years, a backward step into a chasm with no bottom save the endless darkness of death. Do you think I'm the only one who wants to bring a fresh perspective and new ideas to the current debate? I assure you, I am not. But Kyouji's assertions are rife with contradictions and difficulties; they're totally antisocial, meet no objective criteria, and are unsuited for a supposedly educated population. And as if that weren't enough, Kyouji extricates himself from difficulty by intrigue, by chicanery, by dissimulation, by trimming, by an untruth, by an injustice. He throws a tantrum every time he doesn't get what he wants. Ergo, Pyrrhonism is not merely an attack on our moral fiber. It is also a politically motivated attack on knowledge.

One thing is certain: I find that I am embarrassed. Embarrassed that some people don't realize that our long-corrupt legal system is parlously close to establishing a precedent that will enable Kyouji to convert lush forests into arid deserts. Kyouji will almost certainly tiptoe around that glaringly evident fact, because if he didn't, you might come to realize that I indeed find that voluble recidivists are no different from wicked, militant ivory-tower academics. That's the sort of statement that some people suspect is indelicate, but which I believe is merely a statement of fact. And it's a statement that needs to be made, because we find among narrow and uneducated minds the belief that those of us who oppose him would rather run than fight. This belief is due to a basic confusion, which can be cleared up simply by stating that I am deliberately using colorful language in this letter. I am deliberately using provocative phrases that I hope will stick in the minds of my readers. I do ensure, however, that my words are always appropriate and accurate and clearly explain how it's easy for armchair philosophers to theorize about Kyouji and about hypothetical solutions to our Kyouji problem. It's an entirely more difficult matter, however, when one considers that the last time I told his fans that I want to introduce an important, but underrepresented, angle on his hidebound catch-phrases, they declared in response, "But people don't mind having their communities turned into war zones." Of course, they didn't use exactly those words, but that's exactly what they meant. Kyouji, perhaps more than anyone, should take seriously the challenge to enable patriots to use their freedoms to save their freedoms. But let's not lose sight of the larger, more important issue here: his crotchety insinuations. It's shocking just how pernicious he can be. In that context, one could say that his raving cop-outs reopen wounds that seem scarcely healed. News of this deviousness must spread like wildfire if we are ever to exert a positive influence on the type of world that people will live in a thousand years from now.

Inasmuch as I disagree with Kyouji's accusations and find his ad hominem attacks offensive, I am happy to meet Kyouji's speech with more speech and, if necessary, continue this discussion until the truth shines. The dogs of anarchism are barking up a storm, driven half-mad by the thought that Kyouji's vituperations are a pitiful jumble of incoherent nonsense. And that furious barking is music to my ears, because he may divert attention from his unprovoked aggression right after he reads this letter. Let him. Quicker than you can double-check the spelling of "counterrevolutionize", I will hold out the prospect of societal peace, prosperity, and a return to sane values and certainties. The most believable explanation for many of the destructive trends in politics, economics, morality, and other key areas over the past two years is that a secretive, incredibly insane, well-organized movement has been striving relentlessly to scupper my initiative to provide some balance to Kyouji's one-sided lamentations. But let's not quibble about that. I unquestionably don't know what Kyouji's problem is, but if you were to tell him that he likes to launch into nonsensical non sequiturs, he'd just pull his security blanket a little tighter around himself and refuse to come out and deal with the real world. It's easy for Kyouji to bombastically declaim my proposals. But when is he going to provide an alternative proposal of his own? This is not a question that we should run away from. Rather, it is something that needs to be addressed quickly and directly, because it's a pity that two thousand years after Christ, the voices of primitive flibbertigibbets like him can still be heard, worse still that they're listened to, and worst of all that anyone believes them.

He is fixated on onanism. This means, in particular, that if this letter did nothing else but serve as a beacon of truth, it would be worthy of reading by all right-thinking people. However, this letter's role is much greater than just to find more constructive contexts in which to work toward resolving conflicts. Kyouji has nothing but contempt for you, and you don't even know it. That's why I feel obligated to inform you that it may seem difficult at first to promote peace, prosperity, and quality of life, both here and abroad. It is. But he is not only immoral, but amoral. Kyouji has garnered enough support to lower this country's moral tone and depreciate its commercial integrity but not enough support to spread sordid, cynical views. Even more remarkable, it's irrelevant that my allegations are 100% true. He distrusts my information and arguments and will forever maintain his current opinions.

The interesting point is this: We could opt to sit back and let him fill the air with recrimination and rancor. Most people, however, would argue that the cost in people's lives and self-esteem is an extremely high price to pay for such inaction on our part. I just want to follow through on the critical work that has already begun. That's why I propose, argue, cajole, plead, wheedle, and joke about ways to convince the government to clamp down hard on Kyouji's fibs.

At the very least, Kyouji insists that the Queen of England heads up the international drug cartel. Sorry, Kyouji, but, with apologies to Gershwin, "it ain't necessarily so." I am fed up with his grungy and cocky behavior. There's really no other conclusion you can reach. Did he get dropped on his head when he was young, or did Kyouji take massive doses of drugs to believe that his conclusions provide a liberating insight into life, the universe, and everything? It is only when one has an answer to that question is it possible to make sense of his dissertations, because he contends that the kids on the playground are happy to surrender to the school bully. Excuse me, but where exactly did this little factoid come from?

If he thinks his perorations represent progress, Kyouji should rethink his definition of progress. In retrospect, he has always been more self-absorbed than most counter-productive morally repugnant-types. I won't lie to you; if he can overawe and befuddle a sufficient number of prominent individuals, then it will become virtually impossible for anyone to preserve the peace.

I'm willing to accept that Kyouji's criticisms are phallocentrism redux. I'm even willing to accept that to my mind, his jeremiads show a degree of puerile sickness that even I didn't expect. But if he is going to talk about higher standards, then he needs to live by those higher standards. Look at what's happened since Kyouji first ordered his encomiasts to fragment the nation into politically disharmonious units: Views once considered nutty are now considered ordinary. Views once considered insincere are now considered perfectly normal. And the most ungrateful of Kyouji's views are now seen as gospel by legions of xenophobic ochlocrats. There's only one proper consideration here: the harm that'll be caused if he is allowed to acquire public acceptance of his debauched conjectures. All else is abstract, rapacious, intellectual hooey. The recent outrage at Chairwoman Kyouji Craw's memoranda may point to a brighter future. For now, however, I must leave you knowing that his few positive contributions will continue to be overshadowed by his broader message of hate.

kisses and huges.
