| Jarukoth: "!!!" The now dormant earthen dragon head was ripped to pieces by Kirbynite's shots, but not before giving Jarukoth just enough time to draw his katana... His Sharingan foresight gives him the ability to parry most of the shots, but some still get through. Luckily for him, none of the shots hit any vital areas. He wasn't sure it Star Rod shots were lethal, but they sure did hurt... "Kenjutsu - Senpuu Retsu Zan!" [Sword Skill - Whirlwind Slash] Jarukoth's blade glows briefly, before he swings it hard, releasing a wave of energy resembling a cyclone. The whirlwind deflects the next incoming wave of shots, and speeds right at Kirbynite... ------------------------------------------------ Meanwhile, the chatter the group of oversized animals sitting near them gets Ada's attention. Ada: "I sure hope that's not true...for J's sake..." Shino: "Huh?" |

| ((Sorry about the delay. Everytime I came by, the board was down or had a problem or something.)) Kirbynite was a bit confused as to why his opponent didn't bother to move to another location. There was plenty of time and space to move. "Maybe he needed that location to do something?", he thought. The Dreamlander may have been right when he saw Jarukoth's blade glow. Knowing what to do, or atleast figuring out on how to defend, Kirby closed his eyes. He tossed his Star Rod into the air, and grabbed onto the shiney packet he had on his mouth. He pulls out a strange looking card and holds it out with his left hand. He then shoves the packet underneath his cap and holds out his right arm. Kirbynite catches the Star Rod with his right hand and immediately whacks the card. The chunks of marble and earth infront of the pink creature melded together and a thin formation shot upwards. The formation, still connected with the ground, expanded in the blink of an eye. What seemed to be an old Castle Wall, reminiscent of those from the dark ages, was now between Kirbynite and cyclone wave, which was already blocked by the wall. A few seconds of climbing, Kirbynite reached the top of the wall. Kirbynite: It looks like I can't seem to stay on the ground. Kirbynite grabs another Zelda-esque bomb out from his backpack. He then tosses it down to Jarukoth, not expecting the bomb to actually do something. |

| Shino: "That...that was a Clow Card?" Ada: "It seems that way. Given Kirbynite's style, I wouldn't put it past him if it was..." ------------------------------------------ As Jarukoth does another leap backward to dodge the incoming bomb, he realizes the same thing. A second later, the bomb explodes, kicking up a good amount of earth and dust into the air. From beyond the dust cloud, Jarukoth can be heard saying something... "Gijou Ninpo!" [Beast Effect Ninpo] When the dust settles, the crowd and Kirbynite can see the effects of Jarukoth's move. He is nearly on all fours, with his bared teeth now formed into a set of fangs. His fingernails also appear to have formed into a set of sharp claws. Jarukoth rushes forward, and climbs up the wall shockingly quickly with his newfound speed and strength enhancements from the transformation. Upon reaching the very top the wall, Jarukoth immediately lunges at Kirbynite, trying to swipe at him wildly with his claws... ------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Clever. A bit psychotic...but clever..." Ada: "I just pray he doesn't lose his sanity when doing that move..." |

| Gooey: Kirb no being summoning. Rick: *groans* Oh come on.. Chuchu: Huh? Coo: A bloody magic spell from that Konami card company. Rick: Why is he still not using the Clow? I wanna see fireworks! --------------------------------- Kirbynite: That's lame. He wouldn't fight me as a beast when I was one myself? Bah. Rush Recklessly! Just as Jarukoth sped up the castle wall, Kirbynite pulled out a card from underneath his cap. He smacked the card with his Star Rod and chucked the card to the side. The Dreamlanders eyes glowed green as he let out a small growl. He gripped his Star Rod with both arms and waited for Jarukoth to make it to the top of the wall. Kirbynite: Bring it, puppy! Jarukoth immediately lunged at Kirbynite, meanwhile, Kirbynite lunged at Jarukoth. Unfortunately for the pink pugilist, the ferocious swipe Jarukoth dealt tore open a wound. Kirby fell onto his back, and bounced a bit. Strangely enough, Kirbynite let out another growl, and got up to his feet. His eyes were still glowing green. He lunged forward once again, and performed his own swipe with his Star Rod onto his opponent. |

| Jarukoth: "Consider it brought, Pinky!" A second later, he feels the star rod impact the side of his head. The next thing he feels is his body landing on the ground with a thud. As he gets up, he sees Kirbynite on the wall, looming above him... Jarukoth: "RRRAAAAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!!" Jarukoth flips back up to his feet, and almost immediately starts dashing at the wall again with the same rage in his eyes. However, instead of climbing the wall, this time he leaps at it, twisting his body... "Tsuuga!!" [Piercing Fang] The move turns Jarukoth's body into a type of living drill, breaking through the wall. Once of the other side, Jarukoth leaps through, and drills through another section of the wall. After leaping back and forth a few times, Jarukoth looks up, watching the weakened wall begin to crumble and collapse beneath Kirbynite's feet... Jarukoth: "Grrr....GET DOWN HERE!!" ------------------------------------------ Shino: "...You know, I hate to say it, but Kirbynite may be right...J might be getting a tad sloppy..." Ada says nothing. She has a concerned look in her eyes with her hand on her mouth, as if not wating to believe what she is seeing... Shino: "...Ada?" |

| Kirbynite's eyes darts around, taking note of the instability in the stones below him. The Rush Recklessly spell wore off, as can be seen in the lack of green in the Dreamlander's eyes. Kirbynite: Where's the timber? After putting away his Star Rod, Kirby gave a little hop right before wall finally gave way. He holds out his hands before him, both of which began to glow with a red aura. The pink pugilist grabbed some stones, and began chucking the fire blessed objects downward. Kirbynite didn't have any time to think. He just tossed Gambit-style enhanced rocks at random before reaching the ground. He hoped that atleast one of the stray rocks would explode near Jarukoth.. ------------------- Rick: Chuchu, be a doll and go get one of the judges to announce it's alright for Kirbynite to start summoning the Clow Cards. OW! Hey! Why'd you hit me! Chuchu: Doll, huh? Do it yourself. You guys want to see a show, I don't care. Rick: *grumble grumble* |

| After Jarukoth makes his final burst through the hole, his beastly senses catch the scent of something burning... Behind? No. Above and behind... When Jarukoth turns around, he is greeted with Kirbynite's volley of flaming stone. He performs a somewhat haphazard roll to the side to dodge the initial projectile. However, the explosion that follows takes him by surprise, setting his left boot on fire. Jarukoth: "Hmph...Does this me you're taking me seriously, now?" Jarukoth starts dodging the rocks with a greater sense of urgency and balance. As the explosions roar around him, it would seem he has started to regain his composure... Suddenly, he is interrupted by a message from Shino, via Comlink. -------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Hey, J. I just got word from some Pinky's little animal friends. Apparently, they are trying to get the judges to authorize the use of Clow Cards for Kirbynite." --------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "......What?" --------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Yeah, you heard me right. If I were you, I would watch any suspicious cards that our little friend tries to draw...." --------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "...........He's HOLDING BACK?!?!" --------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "Not really. It seems to be more of a miscommuni..." --------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "THAT'S IT! THAT. IS. FUCKING. IT!!!" The crowd gasps a bit at the unexpected outburst... --------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "....J? J, are you there?" --------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth does not respond. He simply holds him arm to the ground, and focuses his chi into his hand as it begins to crackle like electricity. Anyone in the audience savvy of the Naruto universe or Jarukoth's matches could tell what the move was... Jarukoth: "I'm taking you out right now, Kirbynite...You WILL see that I am the real deal..." "CHIDORI!!" [1000 Birds Fist] After Kirbynite lands, Jarukoth angrily rishes Kirbynite with his arm outstretched, seemingly going for a lethal blow... -------------------------------------------------------- Shino: "No response. Ada, maybe you can..." Ada frantically patches the Comlink through to Jarukoth... Ada: "J! J, Don't do it! Not this way! Don't lose your cool!" -------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "ADA! SHUT UP! THIS DOESN'T CONCERN YOU!" --------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "!!!" |

| Kirbynite landed on a pile of marble debris, amazed at how nice his landing was. He turns to opponent, and notices there was hesitation going on. "Telepathy? Nanocommunication? Only things I can think of for him to-- --------------- Nago: Nyao! Coo: I say... Foul usage of language. Pitch: 'Ey, mang! He's about to go loco. Chuchu: Shut up, "mang". Pitch: It's da birds, mang, da birds! Chuchu: I'm talking about you, not Jarukoth. ---------------- Kirbynite: Whoa! Whoa! He's charging too fast! The Dreamlander didn't know if it was the best idea to follow up the rest of his combo attack. But he had no time to think. He had no defense against this attack where he was standing.. except for.. Kirbynite: This is gonna hurt.. The Dreamlander clinches his eyes and tries to look off to the side. His hands were still glowing bright red before he held both up. He quickly clapped his hands, dissipitating the crimson aura. In the blink of an eye, the field glowed red. All of the missed stones, which were scattered all around Jarukoth and Kirbynite, that have not exploded levitated off the ground. And in another blink, the stones darted from their positions towards the moving center: Jarukoth. The accumulation of all the explosive blocks was so immense that not just knock Kirby off his feet, but launched him across the battlefield and into the wall. A loud thud shot out of Kirbynite's body, followed by a soft, padded thud when his body finally fell to the ground. Kirbynite: Ooooooogh.... The Dreamlander's hat was scorched, but still intact. There were a lot of bloody scratches and burnt marks on his body, but he was ok. Kirbynite: *coughs up smoke* Somewhat. |

| Nice battle, but... Jarukoth gets my vote. He was a little more creative, because he threw in the minor plot twist of being angry at the past... He also seemed a little more skilled in battle, while Kirbynite was hiding and staying at a distance for most of the fight. But still, nice fight, both of you. |

| [OOC: The following Epilogue is for storyline purposes only. I would have posted this today, had Dracoon not ended the tournament. Sorry, but this match was set to be a major plot twist for my character. Judges, don't judge this post as part of the tournament match, obviously.] Jarukoth had been blown an equally far distance from the rocks, and was just getting up when he heard the announcement for the end of the match... Jarukoth: "WHAT?!? NOOOOOOO!!!" He angrily staggers up to his feet, and starts to dash at Kirbynite... Jarukoth: "I don't care if it's the end of the world! I'm turning him into shredded pink taffy one way or another!!!" Jarukoth is about to strike at Kirbynite, when a shrill cry comes over Jarukoth's Comlink, cutting him off. --------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "STOP IT!! For the love of God, STOP!!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "ADA! ENOUGH! It has to be like this! I have to kill him!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "No you don't! You know I know about your parents! It was Umbrella's fault, not yours! You couldn't have done anything about it at your age! Stop thinking you have to keep proving your strength like this!" ---------------------------------------------------------- Tears begin to well up in Jarukoth's eyes... Jarukoth: "...None of that matters anymore. It all ends with Kirbynite. Whatever happens after that doesn't matter..." ----------------------------------------------------------- Ada begins to shed some tears of her own... Ada: "...What about us? Are you saying that all that we experienced together meant nothing?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "Ada...the experiences I've had trancend words. I've...enjoyed them more than you know. But, you and Shino will be fine. You're strong like that." ---------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "...I wasn't talking about Shino." ---------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth: "What are you saying?" --------------------------------------------------------- She had trouble saying what she needed to. She had already had lost love before. She wouldn't lose this one... Ada: "Dammit...J...I LOVE YOU!" -------------------------------------------------------- A gasp goes through everyone in the stadium, Shino included. Jarukoth: "You...you love me?" -------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "Yes....so much." -------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth wipes the tears from his eyes. His fingernails mutate back to normal, as do his eyes, fangs, and posture. All the agression had suddenly been drained from his body. Jarukoth: "Ada...I love you too. I...didn't know if you felt the same, and..." -------------------------------------------------------- Ada: "It doesn't matter right now. Just come back..." -------------------------------------------------------- Jarukoth runs to the fighter's entrance without a moment's hesitation, as if a massive wieght has been lifted from him... He ran through flight after flight of stairs. It could have been Mount Everest for all he knew, it seemed like an eternity anyway. At that point, it probably wouldn't have mattered. He would have climbed it anyway. On and on he ran, until he found the door we was looking for. Jarukoth ran out into the stands, and into the arms of the only one who mattered to him then...the living embodiment of all the awnsers he never knew he was asking... ((Might as well through in an epilogue of my own  ))Kirbynite pushed himself away from the ground. He simply rolled into a sitting position. He was just breathing. Chuchu: Kirby... Rick: What did I miss? Coo: The end of the match, old boy. Rick: Wh-wha?! But they didn't even-- Chuchu: Kirb's got one point against him in the judging. Gooey: Bringing bot being maybe helping. Pitch: Hey hey! Why don't we go and break a chair on that guy's peoples? Chuchu: Pitch.. We don't need that now.. it's over. Rick: Then why isn't anyone down there walking Kirbynite out? Chuchu: He always left on his own.... Rest of the animal friends remained quiet for a bit. Nago: Nyao... Is that why he's so glum in these fights? ------------------- Kirbynite wobbled to his feet. "That fight was pure confusion.", he thought. "It's no fun when the other guy's got some murderous streak.. " The Dreamlander looked around at the crowd. They seem to be cheering over the little romantic moment. He had a faint smile, which eventually faded away. Kirbynite: I guess I'm considered passed my prime in the eyes of everyone... that or it could've been the draconic aura doing it.... Kirby turned around and stepped towards the nearest door. The last action done by Jarukoth lingered in his mind. Then the figure of another appeared in his head. Kirbynite: You promised me you were going to be back soon.... How long is soon going to be.. |
