(If this could be stickied, I'd appreciate it)

Alright, so E3's wednesday. The defining moment for the new generation is coming, and it looks like all three companies are actually going to make a decent showing (yes, even Nintendo).

I don't think I really need to explain the question.

Nintendo Revolution! CUZ I'M AN FANBOY.

...actually, I started to give crap about grahpics as we're starting to hit a level where the leap between the generations are less... revolutionary.

X-box would be second. Sony is... kinda losing it now. I'm expecting it could be a total turnover and Nintendo is the big giant again or it's Microsoft with it's X-box.

And anyone getting offended by my post should get out, it's my personal opinion and shouldn't be taken seriously. Kay?

I wonder what the final name of Revolution would be, althought Revolution sounds more creative than PS3 at least... and Xbox 360 sounds kinda catchy. Even if it dosen't make much sense.

For now, XBOX 360 would get my vote.

But it doesn't, as I know nothing about the Revolution, and PS3.

But yeah.

Edit: Nevermind. Revolution.

ok...seriously, the ps3 looks the best, and has my vote, and as I can see the only vote so far...I watched the press conference for the ps3, 360, and revolution, and from what ive seen its lead me to believe the ps3 is gonna kick the ass of the other 2...not only in graphics, but also gameplay, seeing as how metal gear solid 4, a new tekken, and even another final fantasy afer XII....not to mention many other kick ass looking games, and to many features to talk about, but the ps3 has my vote, and always will.

How about, I'm excited for all of them?

The Xbox 360 has some strong 1st Party support this time around. Perfect Dark Zero, etc. And now it's offering Xbox Live FOR FREE with the purchase of the Xbox 360. (Although not a complete version, it's called the "Silver Edition". Does it matter? No, you can still go online and play games online ... FOR FREE.)

Nintendo? Backward compatible with the Gamecube. Downloadable content for downloading old NES, SNES, and N64 games. Oh my god, can it get better my friends?

Then there's the PS3 that just blows my mind away and causes and eruption in my pants that I have never seen before. You want a perfect example of the power of the PS3? Killzone 2. I don't give a freaking crap if you absolutely hate FPS's. I don't give a crap if the first Killzone game sucked. This trailer is IN GAME.

I want, all of them.

Yeah, and if you're impressed with the Unreal 3 Engine (which is gods right hand) check out Gears of War, which will be using it. That game, looks freaking amazing.

AGAIN. If you have not seen the Killzone 2 trailer ...

SEE IT BECAUSE IT FUCKING ROCKS!

Seriously though, Im not a fanboy of anything so I like all 3 systems. Also being the type of gamer i am (versitile) ill end up buying all of the next-gen consoles, just like i did with this gen.

Im excited about 360 just cause its so close, im excited about ps3 just cause its ps3 (have you seen the ff7 tech demo?!) and the rev is a mystery so its really interesting to see what nintendo will do.

those are definently 2 games to definently buy, that gears of war looks amazing also, but killzone 2 seems like it may be a little better...I like how the ps3 uses 128-bit pixel precision, gives much better gfx then the others.

I have them ranked so far as Revolution, PS3, Xbox 360. That could all change, of course... and in terms of stuff we KNOW is going to be shown, then I have PS3 over Xbox at E3 itself. (Pending any Nintendo stuff on the floor of course.)

Xeogred: ...I'm not that big of a new-age FPS fan, so there.

Basically I have Revolution on my "YES" list, and at the moment I would even, if I come into the funds (translation: get job, save money) consider the PS3 (mainly for the PS2 compatibility). No interest at all in the Xbox 360.

Revolution. They will concentrate on fun games and not worry about graphics that much... hopefully...

The Xbox 360 would be the next system I would get (first if it gets released first... DUH!). I have seen much on that and it looks quite interesting.

The PS3 is last for me. I feel like that Sony is going to create the same exact games... over and over again... sure, it will be a system everyone wants, but so was the PSP...

Right now, just for the premise of Smash Bros Online, the ability to download all those games, and Metroid Prime 3, I'd have to go with Revolution as of now. Plus, with so few specs to go with, I'd have to say that N is gonna take a look at what PS3 and XBox 360 have right now, and take a look at their options. I think that, although they may be last out of the gate, Revolution may have some things going for it that the others can't top.

I do agree with what was said earlier, though - Sony fanboys claim that Nintendo is getting repetitive with their game manufacturing, but I haven't seen Nintendo make four Ratchet and Clank games in as many years, which seem like fairly generic games - I wouldn't play them, and I haven't. I also think that Jak is fairly generic as well, and I haven't bothered to play any of those games.

I, for one, like Halo, so I'm interested to see when Halo 3 will be released and how it will look. Dead or Alive 4 also looks interesting (and no, not in the "I wonder how many different ways their boobs will bounce this time" way). But right now, I'd have to say Nintendo's got more leverage than most people think. They may still be able to upgrade their existing hardware before official specs are released.

ratchet and clank is actually a really fun game, but if you think of it that way, what about the Mario Party games, 6, and a 7th coming, im not saying its a bad thing as I really enjoy the mario party games., but once you start comparing how many of new "versions" of a game so to speak there are, then you can pretty much say all consoles are doing it, nintendo, mario party, sony Final fantasy, microsoft...well thats the only one I cant think of that has more then 2 or 3 "versions" of a game....

Besides all that, I really think nintendo is still going towards the younger audience, then comes sony, then finally microsoft, with microsoft, most games are rated T and above, as they made it for a older audience....so really every console will get repetitive eventually, but if its a new game, with new places to explore, and new features, I say let em do it, atleast it will be new in a sense, while it still may have the same gameplay it is somewhere different, and with different characters and what not....well thats just what I think anyway.

Revolution: Cheap, backward-compatible with everything, online for free, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, ZELDA, Animal Crossing, need I say more?

PS3 will probably cool but after seeing PSX, PS2 and PSP I'm not buying one any time in 2006. Let them fix the numerous problems first.

Xbox... The occasional game appeals to me. The price makes up for it. Unless 360 makes some radical changes, I don't see me buying one except maybe toward the end of its life for hacking purposes.

So here is what we know....

- The most powerful of all the Next next gen ones, will be the Ps3, based purely on stats, but of course stats alone aren't what maketh the machine - that said the Tech demos tread on ANYTHING Xbox360 has shown me.. or perhaps I'm just dissapointed that they've not shown DOA XBV 2 yet

- Controller ports are HISTORY. All Wireless. Our kids will never have the joy of yanking out an opponents controller without them looking during a heated multiplayer game... not that I've done that...obviously

- The Revolution will have the most games at launch, follwed by the Ps3, thanks to Backwards compatibility. That said. Vib Ribbon >> Mario Brothers for me. Plus it uses Flash memory and SD cards.. could be costly.

- Xbox kicks arse with online gaming, closely followed by the Revolution, however it'll be interesting to see what Sony have cooked up here.

- The removable HD drive from the Ps3 to have an Ipod thingy seems cool, as long as the storage is big enough.

Basicaly, based on what I've seen so far, I'm leaning towards the Ps3 first and foremost, and then mabye the Revolution (depends how much games cost really, the downloadable ones, and if they bring out a Sonic Mega-Mega-Super-Dooper collection, and DC Emulation Imagine it, Shenmue..... How sweet would THAT be?
Xbox360 hasn't impressed me, mind you, I'm not that big a fan of online gaming. Bring back Richard Jaques to do the music for PG3 and I may reconsider (I'm kidding!)

(NB: It's worth noting that the Phantom actually has more votes than the Xbox360. Blimey, poor Bill Gates eh? )

I've going with NINTENTDO's and SONY'S new systems. Mainly for Zelda and MGS4.
Just something MGS4 related, not a trailer.

BUT! I demand controllers with wires attached to them! I don't want to inhabit my game play enjoyment because I've run out of batteries. Unlest thier like those flashlight's you just have to shake to power... that's going to be weird with the PS3 controller.
