| The console itself looks VERY nice indeed. A design breakthrough for Sony. It's quite pleasing to see that they're playing to their strengths, ie cutting edge consumer electronics. Same with the 360, where MS made a console that is very aggressive towards the styling of Apple (looks like they're both going for scalps). I don't believe power is going to be a big issue anymore. People are going to be looking at features, online gaming and variety. Sadly for Sony, the XBOX 360 wins in every department there. I'm very concerned about the controller. It looks awful. It looks very uncomfortable. It looks very cheap. It will be very interesting to see both of these consoles, both will be showcasing very interesting technology for consoles. |

| I'm already feeling sorry for Nintendo after seeing some pictures of Killzone. I don't think Nintendo could possibly top this. We'll find out later on though. Those controllers are really the only bad thing I see about this so far. I'm thinking about buying one already. Come on Nintendo! "Wow!" us like you expected! God! There're so many rumors that the Revolution's only going to be 2.5Ghz, but the graphics card is going to be more powerful than the X-Box 360's. | Personally I like the controller....I think its pretty cool...the console looks fucking awesome also, not to mention the games, also, if you have time, watch the sony press conference on gamespot, its 1 hour and 50 minutes long, but it shows a hell of a lot of stuff, including comparisons and its worth the watch, I watched it all, and am still amazed, this beats the snot outta the 360 100 times over... | |||

| Where can I see the controller, I havnt been able to find it anywhere. The system itself looks awesome, i wanna shrink down and sleep inside it.  The tech demo for FF7 was nothing short of amazing, that alone made me want a PS3 more than I already did...which was already ALOT. edit--just saw the controller....and all i can say is....WTF?!?!?! | I take it you didn't actually watch any of the videos... I have noticed that there is no graphical differences at this point between PS3 and X360 titles. That's like saying that at the beginning of the cycles for the current gen systems X-Box had a huge lead in graphics over the Gamecube. SSBM showed that up. At this point, there is little difference in graphics. That'll take a few months to really flesh out. |

| ive watched videos from the ps3 and 360, and there are some noticable differences in the gfx slight, but they are there, also, it seems to run a little smoother, and besides i like the fact that it has so much more potential, what you see on the 360 now is closer to its limit then the ps3 , but since developement is earlier in the ps3 since its still not released til spring 2006, those demos were only the work of a few months, like the unreal people said, that unreal engine 3 demo was only 3 months work..imagine if they had a few more months, it would have looked better I think. | Tech Demoes = Zomg. Tech demo number one = Neat. Tech demo number two = Infrikin' credible. Tech demo number three = Rubber ducky over kill. Tech demo number four = Zomfg. I guess Square Enix will no longer have to keep swaping between sprited eyes and full 3D eyes mid game play huh? |
