| OOC: Open challenge to the first poster here. Stanard rules, but keep in mind the plot and setting of this fight. It's been a while since I've thrown an open challenge, but I want to make this one interesting. Good luck. "Yes Sensae?" Schwa approaches the ruler of Psi Warriors slowly. "Schwa, I have a mission for you. Do you know of the Techno Base located in the middle of Longhorn Sea?" A holographic map appears nearby, powered by Sensae's Psi. They are in Crystal Psipalace, HQ of the Psi Warriors. "I've heard of it a few times... It's pretty mysterious." "It's been abandoned for quite some time, but a week ago it became active again. I want you to investigate the Base. But first..." "Yes?" Schwa waits in anticipation for Sensae's 'extra'. "You will meet someone outside the base. I want you to spar with that character, as he/she will be absolutely essential for your victory. Learn all you can in this battle, and use what you've learned to get through the Base." Pause. Then, "Thank you, Sensae. I'll leave immediately." --------------------------- A streak of blue ether rockets through the air... It's a figure in futuristic armor riding a crystal disc. The streak rockets above Longhorn Sea, circling over a white building in the water below... The outside of the Base is like the surface of an Aircraft Carrier, slightly... It has the flat spot in the center for airships to land, and a huge tower in the northwest corner of this surface. The southwest corner has a large grid of hexagon-shaped platforms, all at slightly different elevations but all adjacent to one-another. There is a large cube on the center-east of the surface, on it a large, high-tech door that leads into the Base (which will not be used during the battle). And on the northeast corner of the surface are many, many winding rails that all spiral and twist their ways to a smaller, seperate surface about 39 feet away from the main surface. All walls and surfaces in this arena are a nice, metallic white and occasional grey. It would be a curious thing for the one outside the Base to see this figure in the air... who is circling down to this Base to carry out his mission... "Okay... | A blast of energy flew in front of Schwa and no sound was herd as it bore through the building, leaving a big hole where it had passed through. Dracoon: "Schwa." Dracoon stepped out of his hiding place, his buster cannon raised to Schwa. Each step he took was made as if he wanted to fight. His beam sword hung losely on his arm. A scanner went over his eyes and it rapidly began to scan Schwa as Dracoon shot a few more blasts at the psi warrior. COMP: "Subject, Schwa. Psi Warrior known to exhibit honorable traits. A fighter for good, a softy. Physical Paremeters, low. Spiritual Paremeters, high. Electric based attack power, medium. Best corse of action..." Dracoon didn't wait for COMP to finish the scan, he was ready to fight Schwa again, this time though, he knew why Schwa was here. |

| "Whoa!" Schwa leaps off the disc and freefalls to the base below, falling away from the first few shots. He lands on his feet, and in midair his disc and armor had dissolved, revealing Schwa's real attire; white, loose clothes and a jet-black blindfold. "Hello, reploid... Nice to see you again. Sensae warned me we'd have to fight... You think you're finally ready to take me in a one-on-one?" Schwa steps forward once, and his hands flare up with blue ether. He gracefully assumes offensive stance. "You can't take a Psi Warrior without honor. Even reploids have honor, you know. 'Sides, what brings you to this base, anyway? You're the last character I'd expect to fight here. For God's sake, I hope this isn't a revenge thing! "But I'm rambling. I've learned new moves, and I'm finally ready to take you on. Hit me with all you've got." Schwa makes the 'bring it on' hand motion. He's fought Dracoon before and lost, so this time he feels he needs to defend his pride. |

| Dracoon: "Reploid... such a misused term. You'd assume I have human qualities to me. I've lost them a while ago, it delt with that factory..." Dracoon did look different then the last time he faced Schwa, much more... robotic than before. Almost no human quality was left. Dracoon: "I'm not the same Schwa... You used to know Dracoonx4, and I'm mostly him. Let me fill you in. There were 10 to begin with. Prototype Dracoonx0 was the first, a fighting machine, very powerful in its own right. A killing machine. x1, he was indeed a step up from the others, meant for speed and spying. x2, a more intellligent machine, nick named COMP, meaning, Completely Odd Moving Computer. x3, the one with the first buster cannon, weak, to weak. x4, you knew him. x5 had double beam swords instead of a buster cannon, but it didn't work well. x6 had wings and missles, meant to be an anti ground unti. x7, a security reploid, meant to have a personality and do well among families. x8, a failed upgrade of x4, but had a much better core system putting out 1000% efficency compared to x4's 100%. x9, the ultimate biological creation. Not a reploid at all, more of a human, but the speed module located in its brain was needed." Dracoon paused, his buster cannon glowing brightly. Dracoon: "Now here I stand, all their powers infused into Dracoonx4, making me Dracoon." Dracoon took aim at Schwa, his buster cannon about to explode with energy. Dracoon: "I hope you've learned something great, because I've gotten a lot stronger too. I can safely say no one in the universe has as much power output as I do... Power Shot!" A blast of energy exploded from the buster cannon, plowing towards Schwa, breaking the ground under it apart. Dracoon: "If you are wondering whats going on in there Schwa, you will have to go through me." |

| During Dracoon's speech, Schwa was slowly charging lavender ether-- lavender, Love ether, the most defensive type. As Dracoon fires, Schwa crosses his arms over his chest and his whole body flares up with it. The shot slams him, but it knocks him back only one step, doing almost no damage. "And I have gotten stronger as well. But know this... you STILL have a heart." Schwa does a high jump straight up, in midair turns into a diving position, then coats himelf with blue ether. Then, at lightning speed, Schwa rockets to the ground straight at Dracoon, and tries striking across the head. If it were to hit, Schwa could use that as leverage to backflip minorly and land directly in front of Dracoon. The attack has good melee attack power, one of Schwa's stronger melee attacks. |

| Dracoon didn't dodge, he just looked up and took the attack. The attack sent him back, but he didn't lose balance he only slid along the ground, gun ready to fire again. Dracoon: "No Schwa... I don't." Fire spewed from the buster cannon, lighting up the area. Dracoon aimed it at Schwa again, this time not taking quite as careful aim. Dracoon: "Flame Thrower!" Fire exploded out of the gun in a wave of flames, circling the area around and Schwa and consuming it all in one giant stream of fire. Dracoon: "Do you remember where I got this attack from Schwa?" |

| Surrounding himself in white ether, Schwa does a side-flip to dodge the flames, but gets scorched in the shoulder and right arm. The ether doesn't reduce elemental damage, but it did prevent him from catching fire. "Anyone with a soul has a heart. You do have a soul, as you were built from Dracoonx4... And that can only mean that you have a heart. Emotional Rockets!" (echo effects) Floating next to Schwa appear three cones of energy-- one blue, one yellow, and one red. "And no, I don't remember where you got Flame Thrower from. But either way, these rockets will prove you have a heart and a soul." Schwa stands ready for Dracoon's next attack. He knows Dracoon doesn't mess around in battle. |

| Dracoon didn't move again, he smiled as the rockets appeared. Dracoon: "I never did Schwa..." Dracoon took out his beam saber and smashed it into the ground. Dracoon: "Rock Crusher!" A fission raced towards Schwa, as soon as it got close, it suddenly exploded. Taking the area out from around Schwa, putting him stunned in mid air, if the attack hit,. With the flame thrower attack still going, Dracoon aimed it at thet new crater, fully intent on incinerating Schwa. Dracoon: "Flame Blast!" Dracoon shot, but this time the fire circled into the crater, and suddenly exploded upwards. Dracoon: "It was from you Schwa. At least, it was you physically." |

| Schwa knows how to deal with this attack. Before the fissure can reach him, he does 2 graceful backflips and lands on the hexagonal pillar-steps in the corner of the Base balcony. The rockets stay close to him. "I know you did. After all, you helped me recover my body when Yiusi posessed me for the first time. That was a selfless act. But we'll see, won't we? Sorrow Rocket, attack!" He points at Dracoon, and the yellow rocket speeds toward him, homing in. These rockets aren't affected by elemental attacks. If this hits, it will cause either poison or a slow condition. (Special kind of poison-- an emotional poisoning, affects the soul rather than the body, but can be cleansed just like any other poison.) The rocket should hit him just before the flames sweep back to Schwa. |

| Dracoon readies his sword and puts it up so the rocket would have to be cut in half to get him, but as it gets closer, he puts the sword down. The rocket hits directly and Dracoon is pushed back a little, but he is uneffected, at least, it seems so. COMP: "Damage... low..." Dracoon stepped forward a little, but as he did, he felt something, it quickly disappeared. Dracoon: "Find what that was..." COMP: "Searching." Dracoon waited for Schwa to make another attack. |

| "Joy Rocket, attack!" Schwa points again, and the blue rocket takes off, once again homing in on Dracoon. If this hits, it brings out positive emotions in the target and Schwa gains a good mana increase. Schwa wonders if Sorrow had an effect on Dracoon or not... but he knows he'll find out soon. |

| Dracoon put away the sword this time and as the rocket got close he stuck out his hand and crushed it. Shattering its effect and the rocket itself. COMP: "Problem identified. Memory files had been accessed. Files locked." Dracoon: "Good." Dracoon walked slowly towards Schwa, his gun out again, this time he was planning something a little different than before. Dracoon: "I've studdied Psi Energy, and I've created a way to artificial make it." Dracoon's buster cannon started to glow a dark color. Dracoon aimed at Schwa. Dracoon: "Dark Psi Laser!" A laser shot from Dracoon's buster cannon, a very small laser black laser. Fueled with negative Psi Energy. |

| "Shouldn't have done that... Anger Rocket, attack!" Schwa points at the dark laser and the red cone takes off after it. Though this time, Schwa has secretly psychically downloaded waypoints into this rocket... It will attack the dark laser, absorb it to make itself stronger (the laser having the same properties of Psi), then home in on Dracoon, while surrounding itself in a tiny EMP field to prevent it from the same fate as the Joy rocket. All this took quite a chunk out of Schwa, but it was worth it. The rockets absorbs the laser, plows right through it and heads for Dracoon. Schwa kneels and begins charging white ether into his palm, without even showing his stress. But inside he's thinking, "Heh heh... Read his mind, all right... Sorrow STARTED to take effect, which means he does indeed have a heart. Poor Dracoon is SO in denial about himself..." |

| COMP: "Automatic Beam Change!" Dracoon's shot changed from the Psi Energy, to his normal energy, destroying the rocket. COMP: "Danger averted. Data deleted. Transformation progree.... pending." Dracoon started to walk again towards Schwa, his buster cannon changing into another hand with a beam sword in it. Dracoon: "This is it Schwa. 5 minutes till I become complete." Dracoon continued moving slow, knowing that Schwa would still have a chance to win after he transformed, but it wouldn't be finding Dracoonx4's heart, it would be another method. |

| Schwa finishes charging. "Time for some help. Spirit of Wind!" (echo effects) White ether spirals brilliantly above Schwa's head, forming beautiful patterns before coming together in the shape of a funnel in front of him. In 7 seconds it has become a miniature tornado no taller than Schwa-- an Air Elemental. "Now you're fighting two foes." The Air Elemental creates a cone of electricity around itself, but doesn't attack. It's planning to do something with the stored electricity... OOC: Hint on what's to come... This fight takes place AFTER Riddle of the Chao. |

| Dracoon: "You're predictable Schwa, one of the most predictable humans of all time. In battle, I could guess at your stratigy, but this is a little new." Dracoon held the swords out, pointing one at Schwa and the other at the Air Elemental. Dracoon: "Sword Pyre!" Dracoon jumped into the air, a ball of fire appearing in front of his beam sword. He spun once and slashed the ball of fire which rocketed at Schwa. Right in front of him, it suddenly exploded, the explosion traveling forward. |

| "I'm no human... I'm 100% Psi Warrior!" The Elemental comes to Schwa's aid by blowing extremely powerful air at the explosion. This slows it's speed and density slightly, while Schwa crouches and surrounds himself with ether to slightly reduce the damage even further. Before the smoke gets a chance to clear, a small barrage of medium-strength energy rings volley through it towards Dracoon's general area. It's hard to dodge them all. One second later, the Elemental discharges it's electricity and sends a cone of thunder blitzing toward Dracoon as well. (A slow-moving attack, but penetrates defense.) "Gotta keep the attacks up... Overwhelming the foe is the best way to beat Dracoon," Schwa thinks. |

| Dracoon: "Good, energy and an element." Dracoon slowly falls towards the ground, the lightning and energy rings going to hit him before he would make it, and he knew this. He pulled his buster cannon out as the energy rings came close, and it started to glow. As the energy rings came closer, a vortex appearing inside of the buster cannon. The rings were swept off their course and were absorbed into the buster cannon. The lightning shared the rings fate. Dracoon: "A tech I'd prefer not to use, the complicity of it is annoying. It can't absorb two elements at the same time, or even a strong elemental attack if energy doesn't come to strengthen the vortex. Now! Power Blade Combo!" Dracoon rushed towards the Air Elemental, as he got close, he started to slash wildly and incredibly fast. He brought back the beam sword a little bit towards him, and then thrusted it forward, a huge blast of energy reached out to completely consume the Air Elemental. The energy retracted back into the sword. Dracoon: "How about you fight using YOUR strength, not a summons." |

| "Blessing of Defense!" (echo effects) Schwa throws green ether at the floor around the Air Elemental right before the attack begins, and the ether spirals upward and surrounds the Elemental. After it disappears, the Elemental is emitting green sparkles, indicating a 15% defense increase for a while. The Elemental tries to defend itself with high speed air around itself, slightly diverting the sword slashes so it doesn't take the full brunt. However, it is still hit. Even the megaton blast manages to hit it... But the Elemental is still standing, and without difficulty existing either! "Good ol' Elementals... Should've known they're resistant to physical damage... Yes, your sword had some elemental energy in it, but it was the physical part that takes up the majority of sword attacks, eh? "Fight without summons, you say? Elemental, come to me!" Schwa leaps up, high in the air, and the Elemental moves back toward Schwa's landing spot. Schwa lands... directly inside the funnel of air... and begins merging with it. Silver cracks of electricity fly in all directions, Schwa's flesh starts becoming half-transparent, and his eyes light up silver under his blindfold. The funnel of air also gains a silverish tint to it, and some wisps of blue ether begin to swirl out of the top of the funnel for effect. In 7 seconds, they are one being-- Schwalemental. Having no more ability to speak, Schwa talks to Dracoon telepathically. "Your greatest weakness is pride. Summoning isn't a lack of strength, it is a way to become more than what you are. The bond you and your summoned creature share can increase both your strengths, or hinder them... depending on how the relationship is treated. With enough love, kindness and wisdom, not to mention Honor, what you now behold can even become possible! "Merging is a technique I use only on special occasions. This is one of them... to teach Dracoon, a great ally of mine with a great weakness to overcome, what a strong bond can accomplish." Schwalemental is even tougher than it seems... It attacks with lightning fast electricity bolts, which have psychic properties as well, as well as buffeting and pressurized air blasts. AND the Blessing of Defense Schwa used on the Elemental before they merged is still in effect, only half as strong now. Schwalemental's instinctive dodging abilities have quadrupled, making it very difficult to surprise. It awaits Dracoon's attack... |

| Dracoon immeaditaly began to scan the new form. Information was lacking, but Dracoon did get something with it. COMP :"Elemental weakness detected." Dracoon: "Understood." Dracoon moved forward, but stopped short as lines on his armor started to glow brightly. His armor began to flash, changing from its blue-ish grey color slowly. COMP (Schwalemental can hear too): "Transformation starting! Beaware, catastrophic explosion may occur if the process becomes unstable." Dracoon started to glow brighter and brighter, and suddenly, a huge sphere of light appeared around Dracoon. Explosions of light were visible from within, extremely loud sounds comming with each explosion. |
