Kinda upset about this. But some people already know about this. My friends uncle is the lead singer of "The Killers" (Brandon Flowers) and I coulda met them on Saturday night but my mom said she wouldnt take me. I was really upset about that. But has anyone here heard of "The Killers" and if so what did you think? They currently have one song on the billboard charts listed at number 13 the song entitled: "Mr. Brightside". What do you guys think of them?

I've heard a few of the Killers' songs, and I like their music. I have "Mr. Brightside" and "Somebody Told Me" and like both of them, would be interested in hearing more of their music though

"Jenny was a friend of mine" would be a good song for you then. Its cool to hear someone else likes them.

Who knew?

(Yes, I refer to the fact that Brandon Flowers is indeed a Mormon.)

They will be ginormous. They've already got two big singles (Somebody Told Me, Mr. Brightside) and I'm counting at LEAST three more (Smile Like You Mean It, Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine, All These Things I've Done) on the album. Probably one of the most marketable of the new new wave bands.

Guess who doesn't like the killers! Me.
I just don't like the way they sound I guess, I dunno. Something about them makes me want to smash their faces in...

Uh, thanks for that, Knives. Meh, each to their own.

I have heard other songs, btw (they were mentioned in this thread) Smile Like You Mean It, Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine. Still would like to hear more. I'm enjoying it on the bus on the way to and from work, nice to have something a little "fun" to listen to

Then why not listen to the Alkaline Trio? Even if you don't like them, each of their songs are unique and you will find at least one you like.

I might, once I get online again at home and get the opportunity to get some tunes again. Might get some Killers and uh.. there was something else that I've now forgotten... too.

When you get home there's a few specific songs that you would probably like 100%.

Stupid Kid (my favorite)
All On Black
Warbrain
Fuck You Aurora
Clavicle

Those are their 5 best IMHO! (My favorites from top to bottom. All On Black and Warbrain tie for second)
