Star Points will be awarded here, of course.
Don't use any dictionary sites, don't even post here if you don't know them. DO NOT USE DICTIONARIES OR ANY PHYSICAL SOURCES EITHER.
You can answer them separately or in groups, but I will judge if you get points for the word.
If you don't get them or it becomes inactive in two weeks, I will tell you the definitions and add a new, easier set. I myself used Dictionary.com for about half the words, so... (Well, less than half.)

1. (worth 3 points) Define:
abomasum, excerebrose, chinwag, blunderbuss, kvell, schmaltz, nudnik, schlock, urtext

2. (worth 6 points) Define:
antepenultimate (.5 given), mazurka (.5 given), cwm, eclogue, ostyak, alexandrine, inacquiescent, buccopharyngeal, ostinato, rhombitruncated, tylosins, intelligentsia

*dies*
...

Hmm ...

I think I know "alexandrine" though, if it's the word I'm thinking of ("alexandrin" in French) ... it's a 12-part verse (in a poem or something), right?

I think 'chinwag' has something to do with chatting or small talk.

'nudnik' sounds like an insult like moron or idiot.

I know two of the words. Inacquiescent means not acquiescent; acquiescent meaning to yield without protest. Intelligentsia refers to the intellectually elite (like me )

Wow, good job!

Legalos, both are correct, I'll say 1 point.
Ultimanium, correct. 1 point.
Kinhad, correct. 1 point also.
Acmlm, it's good to know French. 1 point again.
Gemini, correct and close. 1 point, because the second is not exactly the answer I was looking for.

If someone does a single answer that's easy, I can give them a 0 for it, or 0.5, which is like a coupon that can be exchanged when you have two of them for 1 point.
I will update this in my bio, and NSNick got 4 points before the big board kill.

Yes, but you have to get more specific on that one. No points there, but it's still up for grabs, but only for half a point because you people know that it's a dance.

Correct! I thought it would be answered earlier. It's easy. Now you get half a point, because it was so easy.

Other half is taken. You now have 1 point. My bio has all the records.

My definition--
Mazurka: A lively polish dance in 3/4 time.

I'll give these two a try:

Kvell: Dwell or panic about a certain topic.
Nudnik: An idiot or fool.

Abnausem: Boring repitition or redundance. Ex.: He went on and on in abnauseum.
not incredibly sure, though. its really late. *yaaaawn*
EDIT: Schmultz: German word, meaning dirt. Ex.: He didn't know that he still had schmultz on his lip from last night.

Sorry Clockworkz, I accidentally typed schmultz, I meant schmaltz. Changed.

Nudnik is answered, your answer is better but it was late. Abnausem: It's Abomasum.

You didn't need the examples...

Finally, something from my World Geography course pays off.

A cwm (pronounced koom) is a hollow, bowlish characteristic in a mountainous region, caused by glaciers. Cwms are much more commonly known as "cirques".

An urtext is the original copy of something - primarily a piece of writing. While many copies of the U.S. Constitution exist for public viewing, I believe they have its urtext held someplace under a sheet of glass (probably in Washington).

And since a rhombus is an eqalateral parralelogram, and to truncate means to cut the tip off of a pointed shape; I'll guess that if something were rhombitruncated, it would have the tip cut clean off, and the newly formed face would be four-sided, with the opposite sides parrallel, and all sides equal.

And again, through simple etymology, I'll guess that to say that something is buccopharyngeal is to say that it has something to do with the mouth and pharynx.
