| I need to know if I can rip a tileset from, say, a GBA game to put in my hack. If I take a snapshot using VBA and use pic2snes, would the resulting file be too big to insert in LM? Also, how would I rip palettes from GBA games? (YY-CHR doesn't support .sav or .sgm states.) | |||

| I believe that you CAN infact use two YY-CHR windows (Read the background ripping thread) and copy one tileset from one rom to the other. | |||

| Smwedit: you should've mentioned that it needs to be version 2 PCX or it won't work!!. Paint shop pro is the only one i think that saves them as v2. Its a pitty there wasn't another program that makes BGs and inserts them into LM for you like so. Aaarrgh! but there isn't BTW, Gravieth where is that BG ripping thread?. Can you please link it.
