| I'd be willing to back Yiffy Kitten and ||Bass, on the basis that I want more oldbies back on staff. However, this is assuming that your return is absolute and they return as regular posting users. There is no point in admining users that have little other interest in the board than admining it. I'd be willing to back Blades, but I'm not sure he's seeking the post actively. He hasn't said anything to me, at least. If he does, I'd love to support him. Also, as of yet there's no indication of how staff are going to be considered for future roles. There are other candidates for various roles that have earned the right to be considered, and when the time comes all should be considered fairly. | I think it's in the best interests of the board, and I am not the only one. I could talk about how I think it's absurd that staff members are nominated on past rank and not their recent track record of contribution and hard work. Let me point out that I'm supporting Tom and ||Bass to be considered, and all I ask of them on a personal level is that they are here to stay. I believe that it is in the best interests of the board that all users, both staff and non staff, use the board for it's primary purpose. you said that, and i took it at face value. i didn't know another way or have a special context to frame them in, so it's really all i could do. and those words, to me, said "you have to participate in the general board dialog to become an admin or mod". i don't understand how i misinterpreted them. |
