Flipping heck, I can't believe people are arguing over whether I should learn C/C++ and VB.NET. Jees, I only asked for VB.NET tutorials. From the C++ point of view, I understand what you are saying, as I've heard it all before. Much more flexible etc. So if you can find me tutorials that take me from the basics and work the way up to game/program creation, can you please tell me. That's the reason I stopped C++ learning as I never found any tutorials that took me from basics to game/program creation |

i'd recomment a real book (or at least an ebook) - you will have to pay a few bucks but it's going to save you a lot of time. I have yet to see a beginner-friendly internet-tutorial. internet is great but only once you got the basic concepts |
