Think about it for a second. We, as a planet, rely so much on oil. We use it to make plastic, which everything seems to be made of now-a-days and we use it to propel our vehicles. So what's going to happen when all our oil is gone? Eventually we are going to suck it dry. The governments of the world could have taken measures to push everyone to electric vehicles, but there's way too much money to be made in selling gas, so they chose not to. Has greed doomed us all? What's going to happen when there's no oil left? What's going to happen when we can't get from place to place? When we can't transport our goods and see our neighboring countries? I think the world is going to collapse in our lifetimes. What do you guys think? EDIT: I'm sorry. I didn't see this topic: http://board.acmlm.org/thread.php?id=10917. Can a mod close this or something? (edited by Nebetsu on 05-02-05 05:31 PM) |
