| What's up? I posted this on the old old backup board as an attempt to get people to read it as I was being silenced by Jesper. Ace was nice enough to let me get this out though. And I'm sure it will be closed though because certain mods here are afraid of me (and knuck) because we're more liked than they'll ever be. Anyway, here it is in it's entirety. This is like an easter egg on a dvd. Why am I posting here? Because Jesper wants me silenced. He changed the password on my account and i.p. banned me. Let me explain a few things to you guys about the banning back in January. I had been meaning to write this for awhile now but I've been too lazy. Anyway, it started out late last year. Hiryuu was changing into an ass more and more by the day. He usually was a nice guy and I considered him my friend. He always had a slight hint of "high and mighty" to him but it was so subtle you either couldn't tell or didn't care. Then he became staff. That's when it exploded. He became a huge egotist with a huge holier-than-thou attitude. Whenever he wrote something, he acted as if it was from the hands of a god. It was his way or the highway. He could nevvvver be wrong and always looked down on others. Then he started insulting #acmlm. Now I don't mind if the regulars do it because they had a right to seeings how they knew it from head to toe. But this guy rarely showed up there. Maybe once a week or so. Of course he would always hang out in #nobodysworld, but hardly #acmlm. That would have been fine and dandy but he clued me in on something entirely different. Hell, you can read the whole thing here. ------------Hiryuu-----------"People are starting to get pissed with you over this attitude as of late, I'm not going to point fingers at who because they don't need more of you being this way, and no one wanted to step forward because we figured it was just some weekly thing."--------Hiryuu---------- That pissed me off more than anything. I will not have my "friends" having some stupid secret council discussing my actions. Anything you can say about me, you can say to my face. Figuratively speaking, of course. At this point, I didn't trust most of my friends anymore. And just by the way people were starting to act towards me, I got a pretty good idea who it was. Why was I acting like a jerk? Because if that's how people are going to act towards me, then they can expect the same thing back. YOU guys were the ones who started it, not me. And I'm the one who's punished for it, of course. Apparently they took it too personal, so Hiryuu and Jesper (probably Colleen too) formulated a plot to bait me into getting permabanned. And it worked. Now, it's just as much as my fault as it is theres for actually taking the bait but still, it's a pretty fucked up thing to do. Hiryuu has since been a complete prick. Not once did he ever offer an apology or even attempt to get one from me. As a matter of fact, he hasn't even said a word to me since then. For fucks sake, even Ziff tried too and he was one of the main people who tried to get me permabanned in the first place. And fuck you for that Ziff. It just goes to show you what being staff does to people. The ways of the staff can be summed up in one sentence: "Don't flame you stupid son of a bitch!" Rydain does it right though. Kudos to her. Jesper reminds me of the whole Anakin to Vader transformation. We used to be somewhat good friends. He was one of the very few people who would actually talk to me over aim before I talked to him. That is, a conversation initiator. It's been too long so I don't even remember what exactly turned him into an asshole or what triggered the whole falling out of our friendship. It was about the time he came back from almost a year abscense in irc and was immedietly made ircop. I always liked how that worked too. When things goes bad, he bails. When he comes back though after the rough times are over, he's rewarded for it. Nice. Strangely enough, Erk was never a problem to begin with. Things were much more pleasant in irc AND the board when he was hosting. People take being staff to their heads. There's one thing you have to realize. It's just an internet message board. You people make it seem like if something goes wrong on the board, then life itself will crumble and we'll all be pulled into and endless void where all existance will cease to be. Guess what? *spoilers* It wont. *end spoilers* If someone makes a pretty stupid thread, there's about 15 people that jump on it and freak the fuck out. "HOLY SHIT YOU CANT DO THIS OMFG OMFG WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!>?!!?" Chill the fuck out. Being staff doesn't make you cool. It doesn't make you special. Quit acting like such arrogant assholes. Why the hell am I even saying this? It's not going to change. Anyway, banning me wasn't enough for Jesper. At that point, I didn't mind much and this angered him. He wanted to see me pissed. So he tried baiting me in irc. I tried ignoring him and that pissed him off even further. So he banned me because I wouldn't answer some stupid question of his. By the way, that's a bannable offense now. Not answering an ircgod's question. Then he says a bunch of stupid shit like "omg we're building up a case against you" and all the crap. I basically tell him I don't care and I go about my merry way. He glines me. Of course that wasn't enough for him either. He then proceeds to i.p. ban me. Which, by the way, goes against the protocol of AcmlmWord. The irc channel and the board are two seperate entities. You can't be punished in one for what you did in another. But whatever. You would think that would be enough, but nope! There's even MORE! He took down my blog too. I had been asking for a new blog scheme for about six months at that point. Nothing. Ok, that's fine. But then Yoshi Dude gets one. That's a sidenote by the way, back to the main part. He took it down and didn't offer an explanation. Of course I didn't really need one. It was my blog and he wanted to see it gone. He didn't want me to get out the word to anyone because he knows that what he and his cronies did was wrong. He tried to silence me. I get disgusted with pretty much everyone at this point, even knuck and max. I don't even remember how that started. So I leave things for about a month and come back. Seeings how Jesper is inept when it comes to administrative duties, the gline he gave me wasn't there anymore. So I join the channel and it's lost about half of its userbase. I was told the place was dead since I had left and that didn't surprise me. So activity is a go again. Then Jesper shows up and zlines me. Yeah, that is SOOO much worse than a gline. Seeings how I wanted to write again, I asked if I could have my blog back. I had to swallow a lot of pride to do that too. He had someone relay a message to me (he blocked me on aim) saying that I should email him and ask about it. Now I didn't know his email address. So I asked the messenger to get it for me. He said it was on the board. I was i.p. banned and I didn't feel like busting out a proxy for the sole sake of this. So he FINALLY gives it up. Over the next few days, I sent him about 5-10 emails. I never got one reply. He was just dicking with me the whole time. Like I said before, an asshole. It's time to start wrapping this up. Now, take a look at your board now. Look at the people you're losing. Me, knuck, Jizuko, Phil, etc. How much longer will this go on until you realize that you are being fucking jerks? Quit being so damn full of pride and egotism and start giving a little. The board was on life-support after you banned me. Now it's flat-lining. And you keep punching it in the face. I'm not interested in your apologies and I'm not ready to forgive you either. I have no interest in talking to any of the people who have been complete fuckholes to me. You know who you are. Jizuko, max, knuck, Phil and anyone else I might not have mentioned are my friends. We've had our fights but we've put our stupid shit aside and made up. Why? Because that's what friends do. You give some, you get some. They don't manipulate you, they don't plot against you, and they most certainly don't treat you like shit when you're down and out. To each of them, they have my thanks. Leave this place behind and find something that's actually meaningful. Those who do have found that they are much happier. | Legion... Oh Legion... The only possible thing I can say is. Is this the truth? 100% complete absolute truth? Hell, the boards have gone down hill since when I joined, but I wasn't surprised by that. Nebetsu came along at first, I hated him, much like I hated you at first. Now, he's not that bad, better here than not. I really don't understand why you're actually banned if you haven't caused a problem recently. I only logged into #acmlm one time, doesn't work anymore for me, and I can remember kinda what you said before it stopped working. Didn't seem that bad, and if I had time, might've gotten to a point where I would've tried to fix it. Anyways, I have noticed people leaving, and some getting banned for idiotic things. Hell, I remember when some people got banned just because Yiffy Kitten decided they weren't good enough. I don't really care much about the staff, since I rarely post outside of two of the forums, and I'm not sure what to think about them. Good luck man, take it easy, blah blah. Later. |
