Lately there's been a few questions about how to do (to some) basic things in Lunar Magic, and also the idea of a hack repository has popped up. I'll be willing to setup a site for stuff like this somewhere on wootest.net and do quite a bit of programming as well. While this may not happen before Easter, I'll certainly have started coding before April ends.

So if you want in with any kind of tutorial or howto for LM or other tools, or even hacks (think the DM:TLC FAQ), send me a PM, IM or email, or reply here. As for the hack repository, I'm going to have to create a standard with some fields of data before I'll accept entries for this, so don't bother sending more entries.

BMF, Knux, Coby, FuSoYa, Hyperhacker and others: could you be able to cooperate with me and help out with transferring some data, design it conceptually or generally give some advice? I'm looking to make this an automatic site run by a database rather than a hardcoded site as to allow user ratings and uploads by users (while still perhaps moderated), and I want it to cover everything, so it's quite a big project, and I could use some help.

I'd be fine with it if you wanted to use my DW:TLC FAQ.

Also, if the completed hacks database thread is successful, that would also be a good resource to turn into a webpage (especially with some mechanism to vote on each hack.) If things go well, I'll try to create an in-progress hacks database as well (basically making the SMW Hacks Showcase thread obsolete, but it pretty much sucks to begin with.)

If you are going to use PHP, I can (probably) help with something...

My idea for hack name registration might fit there as well...

You can use my Palette Animation tutorial, but you'll have to get it from Geno (Geno was the only one who saved it before the Old Board got deleted).

This site does sound like a good idea. It isnt needed, but it would definitely be helpful to oldbies and newbies alike. I kind of feel like a newbie not being able to actually contribute...

I've got 6000 posts! And it keeps changing.
I love April fools day. Too bad it's not 6000 posts for real.

That reminds me, I need to finish the next version of that RAM database program. When I do maybe you can add support for the database format so they can simply be uploaded to the site and read off in whatever format.

Hmm... A hack review database would fit there too, wouldn't it?
